Beverage Package question

My dh and I will be on the Navigator of the Seas this Sunday for 7 nights. It has been years since we have cruised RC. We are not big drinkers but my dh would like a beer during the day and both of us a drink at night while watching the shows. Would it be cost effective to buy either beverage package and what do they cost for 7 nights? TIA

If you are saying you would only consume 2 drinks a day, then the packages would not be cost effective.

You will need to drink about 6-7 drinks daily...for each of you to make the package "pay".

While cb's number is not correct, your description of your drinking habits, txjudy54, means that you are better off just purchasing drinks as you want them. By a long shot. :)

Just wondering what your math comes up with. I can't believe I'm actually agreeing with CB, but his numbers are pretty much what I came up with as well.

2 beers @ average $6.50ea $13

2 cocktails @ average $8.50ea $17

2 Glasses of wine @ $11ea $22

1 After super cocktail $8

Total $60

If your only having 2 alcoholic beverages a day then it is not worth it to purchase any of the packages containing alcohol. The packages vary from 40,50,60 (roughly) per person per day including tip. Only having 2 drinks per day would have you wasting a lot of money. You might want to look into the "Royal Replenish" Package which is about $20 a day, it includes sodas, waters, coffee, and frozen non-alcoholic beverages (virgin strawberry daiquiri and virgin pina colada). And then if you pay individually for the 2 alcoholic beverages you'll be at a more affordable price point. The alcohol packages are really only a value if you are having 7+ drinks a day.
