Beach chairs....

Just a dumb question ?? Was wondering if one can bring their own chairs and floats for the beach on board.

Beats paying $$ everyday to rent them especially if you are doing a long cruise.

Would leave it them behind for somebody else when cruise is over.

Of course! I wouldn't leave them behind...take 'em on home, and use them on your next cruise! If you leave them, you might as well pay to rent the stuff!!!! They won't be "used" by others...they'll be thrown away.

We have done this on a b2b.We have a store here In NJ called $5 below and got two chairs and at the end of the cruises we give them to someone who is doing a b2b.So I look at it this way $10 as compared to maybe$150.And no one at the beaches says anything.

Do you have any pics of the chairs you purchased?

For my upcoming cruise I plan to bring inflatable mats for Coco Cay. They are unopened in a package and take up little room in the suitcase. They probably cost $.98 ea. as opposed to $14 to rent a floating mat. Once they're used I am not going to bother uninflating, cleaning and bringing home. I don't care if they are thrown out.

Thanks... we usually bring floats and have this small air pump to blow them up.

As for chairs... since we are not flying into the port and doing 11 days

with 6 beaches... for three adults and two kids.. Would save lots of money.

They even have these small clam shells that can easily be carried on or give it to the porters... Especially good for those traveling with little ones.
