How to get MLife to match your RCI status?

MLife status match has to be renewed every October 1st as your status reverts back to the basic level or another level based on points.

 

While I had no problem with the status match the first 2 years I was qualified, I am now waiting for a reply to my email for this year. Last year my revised status match was taken care of within an hour of my email.

 

After the status has been matched it can take up to 48 hours for the change in status to appear on the M Life website.

My email requesting a status match for the third consecutive year was granted today at 11 AM on the first business day following my request and the status changed immediately on the M Life website when I received their confirmation email.

 

I look forward to contacting them again next month as I will reach D+ and will request that they move the account from Gold to Platinum.

We decided to do a quick couple of nights in Vegas next week, and I remembered that this status match was possible. I signed up for MLife on their website, then sent an email asking for status match. On the following business day (even during Christmas week!), I received a confirmation that the status match was granted. The MLife website reflected the upgraded status as well.

 

I used my new status to book rooms at Vdara, and got a nice 20% discount because of my MLife status. I also got a small discount on some show tickets. I'm looking forward to priority check in, and am hoping for an upgraded room. It's nice to be a "high roller" without having been to Vegas in many years :-)

We are Diamond on RCI and want our status matched to Gold with MLife. We are going to Vegas in 2 weeks. I have written to comments@mlife.com and had not response. I called the MLife phone number and was told the supervisor could do that and I would get Gold status. 2 days later....nothing. Ho w do you get them to align your status???? I need it done soon. Thank you!

Had the same situation.. Go into a MGM hotel membership desk.. Bring something showing your C & A level, and they will do it while you wait.. You can walk out with your card.. That's what we had to do. NO luck getting it changed online. Have fun in Vegas, and tell my mom hi...lol

Email status match working perfectly for me just as it has done for several years.

 

I had to contact them at comments@mlife.com on two occasions this year due to my move from D to D+.

 

My Saturday, October 17th, 2015 email was answered on Monday, October 19th, 2015 and 're-instated' my status back to Gold due to my Diamond status.

 

I sailed on Liberty on Nov. 1-13, 2015 and it took 4 days for RCI to grant me D+ status.

 

My Wednesday, November 18th email was answered on Thursday, November 19th. 2015 and confirmed my move from MLife Gold to MLife Platinum.

 

In my emails I clearly included my MLife member number, briefly stated my requested move or status and included a copy of my C&A number and status from the RCI website.

 

Responses come from memberservices@mgmresorts.com if you need to make sure they do not end up in your Spam or blocked email file.

Yay!! I think I finally got someone at the MLife phone number who knew what they were doing. They said they will update my status ASAP after checking with RCi while I was on the line and verifying my status.

 

Thank you all!!! It only took an email and 2 phone calls to get this accomplished!

 

I am also gold RCCL and Sapphire Mlife. Did you benefit more when you called

mlife? Wondering if I should call?

Yes, D+ gets you Platinum in MLife.

Benefits on board (you cannot use any C&A benefits and done have reported that they have not been able to use mlife benefits on board as they did not earn their status. It depends on the casino host)

When we checked into the Luxor I was able to check in at 11:30 with no early check-in fee. I asked if there were any upgrades available and handed her my gold card with my ID and credit card? The clerk at the MLife check-in desk went to check and came back and asked me if a Tower Luxury Suite was OK....ummmmm YESSS!!:D Using the Mlife check-in was also a huge time saver as the lines were very long for check in. I just walked right up and checked in.

 

We also went to the MLife desk and got a parking pass that allows us to park right by the elevators in the parking garage which is nice because it is a long walk to the room. Very nice suite and we are liking the perks. Using the buffet pass line tomorrow.

 

This is a very nice partnership with RCI and MLife!

 

We had something similar happen to us. We had a reservation at Mandalay Bay this past April, didn't have my match before we went, so as soon as we got there I went to the mlife desk, got my gold mlife card and went to check in. We got to the front desk and there must have been 100 people in line, looked over at the priority check in for gold and up members and there was 1 person in line, yas!! definitely worth the match just for that! We we checked in we asked about an upgrade the only thing they had was a sky suite and it would be $75 a night. We declined, we were trying to keep it an inexpensive weekend. We also had $150 resort credit for booking through an RCCL special. We ended up taking a room at the Delano which was awesome, 31st floor with a strip view. So a great experience for us!

I'm happy this thread was bumped today. I'm going to Vegas in August and am emerald on Royal. Signed up for Mlife this morning, emailed Mlife to match, and have already received an email back saying I'm getting gold tier benefits. Hopefully, this will equal a room upgrade when I arrive!

 

Can I just walk into the gold line, as somebody said? Or, do I need to pick up the card first? I assume it will be obvious when I get there (staying at Bellagio.)

I would go to the Mlife booth and pick up your card first before checking in to be sure to get expedited check-in. Many of the hotels have pretty long lines and I wouldn't count on your membership level being in their system at check-in so the card could be helpful if requested.

Tried that, but they wanted our C&A number which we also had with us. The Seapass card does show your level, but it doesn't have your C&A number on it.

I'm in England too and cannot see that page either!

 

Anyway a friend on board at the mo has just told me " Sign up on line with MLife, then call them and give them your C&A number and they will give you equivalent status. I'm D+ so that gets me Platinum MLife - which supposedly entitles you to a specialty meal for two on board and 10 free drink vouchers to be used in the Casino bar.

You have to call Casino Royale to let them know what ship you'll be on board and they will email them.

However, Casino Royale told me I wouldn't get the benefits as I hadn't got to platinum by using MGM. When I got on board I went to the casino they emailed Miami to check then gave us the free meal and drinks vouchers. Simples! "

 

Another friend also on board said she had a battle to get her benefits but the Casino Manager eventually gave them to her.

Sorry, I've not been able to find the equivalent page on the UK website. The phone number on that page is a US 800 (800-762-0702) number, which I don't think is useful to people in the UK. I would try to find a UK number for Royal's Club Royale.
