Wow....I'm impressed. I emailed Ken Byrne's last night at 9:31 requesting a booth/table for 2 on our May 3rd cruise. At 10:13 he responded and said it was taken care of! Thanks Jamman54 for the info. That was awesome!

Ken is awesome!! Glad I was able to help.

Ok Ryan's luck needs to rub off on me. I am tuning back in to see if he wins anymore throughout the cruise ;) :)

HI all!

Jamman57 ~ I've just discovered your review & am thoroughly enjoying it.

I'm pretty new to the Carnival boards.

Wow, Ryan's one lucky boy!!:D

~ Jo ~ :)

Will Ryan:

(A) Lose all that he has won?

(B) Win a whole bunch more?

© Bring some of the money home?

Stay tuned. Much more to come!! :)

Our 2nd sea day…..

CP0331.jpg

We were up at 6:30 am to catch a beautiful sunrise. The seas were a little bit choppier than yesterday, but still pretty smooth. The temperature was warmer for sure. Our view looking forward…..

Patti and Ryan wanted to sleep in a little longer so I made my way up to the Lido to get some breakfast. What should I have today? I’m not going to pay for coffee, since I don’t think the free coffee on board is that bad. Here’s the Coffee Bar in the Mermaid Grille…..

CP0343.JPG

There are a couple of Continental Breakfast lines available…..

CP0344.JPG

Along with several Breakfast Grill lines for the normal breakfast buffet fare…..

There are several of these omelet stations. I have this for breakfast a lot during a cruise, but not today…..

I look up and see that David is keeping an eye on things!!

Today I’m up for a breakfast burrito. I loved them on my Liberty cruise last year, and was excited to have one today, so I head over to the Blue Iguana Cantina…..

CP0350.JPG

I know exactly what I want to order. First, I start off with the jalapeno tortilla. The only other choice is wheat. Now for the stuffing of Mexican scrambled eggs, ham, chicken sausage, hash browns, cheese, salsa, sour cream, and hot sauce. Yummy!! Here are my newest burrito making buddies…..

CP0352.JPG

The Salsa Bar if you want to add even more…..

CP0351.JPG

The Blue Iguana has its own beverage station…..

Even though it is a lot warmer today, the retractable roof is still closed. For some reason, on the Spirit Class ships, the roof can’t be opened or closed while the ship is moving, unlike the Conquest Class and Splendor, where the roof can be opened and closed anytime. They will open it when we get to Grand Turk tomorrow…..

This was my view from my perch at the Red Frog Rum Bar…..

CP0368.JPG

Ryan had gotten up, grabbed his breakfast, then joined me at the Red Frog Rum Bar. It’s funny, but anytime Patti or Ryan wanted to track me down, they would check our account on the television, and find out where my latest bar charge was from. Works almost every time!!

Ryan finished his breakfast and went off to explore. After a couple more beers, I walked around the open decks taking pictures. Here is the Apollo Pool…..

WHAT THE HECK??? I MISSED THE TOWEL ANIMALS AT THE POOL? How can this be? I was up there at the Mermaid buffet at 10:25am. Where they gone by then? I kept telling my husband that I couldn't believe that they didn't have the towel animals at the pool this time around after seeing pictures of them in previous cruises.

They were pretty much wrapped up by 9. You have to get up early to catch them. As people show up at the pool to use the loungers, one by one they disappear. Patti is usually the one to catch them, but luckily I went up to the Blue Iguana early for a breakfast burrito, so I got the pictures.

Well that explains it. Darn! I'm so disappointed, I just message Kendra about it and showed her your pictures. Now she can be disappointed with me! LOL :p

I hung out at Serenity until Noon, then went to meet up with Ryan and Patti for the first blackjack tournament of the cruise. Ryan and I would be playing, Patti would be there to root us on and take pictures. Here we are, waiting our turn to try and qualify for the finals…..
