Cruise-Crazy Posted May 6, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2015 Ok, I know you have to turn it in when you get back on board. It has been a while since I was on NCL and these policies seem to change. Do they deliver it to your cabin the last night or do you have to go pick it up?
cliffd64 Posted May 6, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 6, 2015 There will be a location that you will need to go to on the morning of disembarkation. You present your receipt and collect your alcohol :)

roger001 Posted May 6, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 6, 2015 It's usually available the last evening of your cruise. If you buy it on board, it is delivered to your room the last evening. .......all things subject to change
hawk1972 Posted May 6, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 6, 2015 On the Jewel in January we picked up alcohol we bought in port in the pool area and the booze we bought on the ship in the main shop where they sold it. Both on the last night.

It has never been delivered to our stateroom.

zqvol Posted May 7, 2015 #9 Share Posted May 7, 2015 I have found that the way it works is not consistent across the line but varies from ship to ship.
Demonyte Posted May 7, 2015 #10 Share Posted May 7, 2015 I have found that the way it works is not consistent across the line but varies from ship to ship. This. There is no one definite procedure and/or schedule - we too have had several different scenarios happen regarding confiscated liquors.
DreamingBig1 Posted May 7, 2015 #11 Share Posted May 7, 2015 What if your doing early walk off departure? Can you pick it up the night before?
KaralotStables Posted May 7, 2015 #12 Share Posted May 7, 2015 What is the advantage of buying alcohol and then having to take the risk of breakage to get it to the home bar. Now if we were talking OUZO, the real stuff, that would be great, if you could get it as past customs.
Demonyte Posted May 8, 2015 #13 Share Posted May 8, 2015 What if your doing early walk off departure? Can you pick it up the night before? On all of our cruises there has not been a case when we wouldn't have gotten the bottles the last night in one way or another. Picking up the bottles on disembarkation morning has never been offered as an option - after all most people do pack their luggage on the last night (deadline for luggage pickup is usually around midnight, before or after) and need to put the bottles in there in order to get the bottles through airport security. Cruise-Crazy Posted May 10, 2015 Author #15 Share Posted May 10, 2015 Just saw a Daily from Getaway, it says the alchol will be delivered to your cabin on the last night of the cruise. This was a couple months ago... I will see in three weeks. :)
