Hi... I sailed the MSC Divina back in October of 2014 to the Eastern Caribbean on a 7 night sailing...First of all let me tell you that this ship is esqusite....when you walk onto the ship and enter in the atrium you will be in awe...It is beautiful....everything shines, it is so clean....and the swvorski staircase is goregous....

There are plenty of activities for you to enjoy....you can a planner in your room the night before for all the activities occurring the following day....there is something for everyone....

The rooms are very nicely appointed....I myself had a balcony room which was beautiful....had a queen sized bed....plenty of storage....a full size sofa and coffee table, with a nice size vanity and TV....the balcony was a good size balcony with two chairs and a small table....

The food on the MSC Divina was delicious....there are two main dining rooms the Crab Tree and the Villa Rossa....you get a set dinining time to dine....plenty of choices to choose from...also you have the buffet which is excellent....and the pizza is to die for....it is made right in front of you...and different choices of pizza to choose from...also you can get a pizza made to order with a choice of all different types of toppings....they have a few specialty restaurants as well....which is a charge....I ate in the Eately Steakhouse....albsolutely enjoyed my meal there.... also on the other side is the Eately Italian Restaurant....

The shows are fanonimal....a different show every night....even have an opera...i didn't think i was going to enjoy this.....but it turned out to be excellent....all shows had a standing ovation...that is how good they are....they are a little different than the common las vegas shows you sometimes see on different lines....but throughly enjoyable....all i can stay is that they have the best entertainment at sea.....Top Notch!!!!

Yes there are children....but they are well contained and taken care of....you really never see them...and if there are some...very well behaved....

Only thing that i do have to say is that their customer service are sometimes very kirt..... but by far....the ones that i have dealt with were very courteous to me...

Be aware, though, when you do check in, and you give your credit card to set up an account, make sure that you do notify your bank that you will be going out of the country and be setting your card up with an account aboard the ship....this ship deals with a european back from paris, france, and anything that you do purchase aboard the ship....the transactions get processed through there european bank, and they in turn bill your credit card.....this is very important....make sure that you set your account up with at least $300....because if you dont, they will put a hold of $150 on your card....and if you go over that before the cruise ends.....they automatically put another $150 hold on the account....and this is done from there bank in paris, france.... i ran into a problem......as i was running low on the account....and they automatically put another hold on my credit card... my credit card thought that the merhcant was putting frauntlly charges on my card, and suspended the card....and i was detainted on the ship, until the matter was cleared...this put a bad taste in my mouth at the time....but the credit card was just looking out for me....so as i say, first notify the credit card that you will be going out of the country....and once checked in, go to guest services and set up your account with at least $300....anything left over, should be returned to you on your credit card....

The reason that i am telling you this, is because this has happened to a few other passengers that has sailed the MSC Divina.....read through the cruise critic message boards on MSC Divina......It is a very embarassing thing to happen, and at that time the lady at the customer service desk was very rude to me....in order for me to leave the ship i had to return the last item that i had purchased on the ship......

I will be sailing the MSC Divina again in 2016....but i will not check in with a credit card this time....i will be opening up a cash account with $500...and anything that is not used...all i have to do is go down to customer service at the end of the cruise...and i will get back any money that was not spent....Really i do not want to go through, what i went through the last time...

Hope that this information has helped you in deceideing to sail on the MSC Divina....you will have a lovely time....Happy Cruising!!!

They could possibly be on MSC Orchestra which is based in the Caribbean from Nov To April.

I'm doing a 14 night Antilles cruise on Orchestra next March/April which I am doing B2B with a 14 night trans-atlantic back to Genoa in April.

Granni,

We sailed aboard the MSC Divina 2 years ago Thanksgiving week, here is a link to my review...it is rather long but I think it was informative , and there are lots of pictures... you may have to go into the review a few pages before we actually start reviewing the ship...enjoy! Oh we are sailing again this Thanksgiving week aboard the Divina as well...4

We took a trip on the MSC Divina and had a great time. The shows were quite entertaining. On our personal cruise blog http://www.bonvoyagebites.com there is a review of the Divina. Not as extensive of a review as we would have liked, but there are some photos and opinions on there that may help. Take a look around and see if it helps any.

We had a great time, and previous posters are correct, the ship is VERY clean and pretty.

My daughter and I took my grandson on Divina Spring Break 2014. I wanted to take DH on her last June, but she was in Brazil for FIFA and this year the Med. When I saw she was sailing out of Miami next June, I jumped on it.Can't wait to show my husband around.Taking grandson again and he is so excited. I just love MSC and The Divina.

We are thinking of taking our teenage grandchildren on a spring break cruise next March and are considering the Divinia. Are there activities they would enjoy? On the website it mentions an aquapark and waterslide, but I can find no photos of that. Is there such a thing?

It sounds like the ship would be wonderful for us but I am concerned whether the kids would like it.

There is a slide that my 15y.o. Daughter enjoyed, the Aquapark is just a name for their main pool that has some fountains around it.... as for activities, my DD enjoyed herself especially getting to meet other teens from different cultures.
