Valor in Nassau hrabour with lifeboats in the water

If you look right now at the Port of Nassau port cam:

You will see the Valor has some lifeboats deployed in the water. Would they just be checking them to ensure they work? Have seen this before.

We were able to witness this one time when in port (can't remember where), when we got back on the ship very early. We were outside in lounge chairs on deck 3. Interesting experience.

Crew drills are required weekly. Boats must be in the water at least once a month.

I agree! We watched the drill in St Thomas while we were waiting out an early morning rain before heading out to the beach.

I've only seen it once in my life. I would assume they do it in port after most passengers have departed the ship.

Saw them reeling one in once when a passenger was unaccounted for. Got woken at 7AM on the Glory stating they cannot find a passenger. It had a good ending, she was found. Thought it was very cool to watch the lifeboat pull up to the ship and how they brought it up.
