Thinking about jumping lines but not after this last cruise

Recommended Posts

Just off the Freedom today. What a great time we had. We've been thinking about trying a new line after being on the Enchantment in May but after this cruise we aren't going anywhere. The ship, stateroom attendant, bartenders, waiters, concierge everyone was awesome. We had an OTW cabana #6 on Labadee and even our cabana attendant was unbelievable. He checked on us every 10 mins until i told him we were going to relax and maybe nap.As soon as i stepped out of the cabana after about an hour he came running from across the beach to check on us.On Friday we received a phone call to have lunch with the captain on Saturday. So in between our galley tour and bridge tour we had lunch with three other couples in the dining room with Capt Ron Holmes.Mystery dinner was a fun time also. The only negative was Sabor the food wasnt anything near what we expected. We also booked another cruise on the Freedom for Sept 2016 while on board which will make us D+ due to getting the 3 extra points for spending $450 on each of our seapass cards.Great time, Great people, Great ship.

Glad you had a great time.

Tell me more about getting 3 extra points while onboard. Is this something new?

Royal Caribbean announced an experiment on Freedom of the Seas only, for the month of September only.

Who knows what will happen now?

Nice to read a good report on FOS, I have family going on her in a couple of weeks.

If you're that close to D+ you may as well stick with RCI at least until you get to the next tier. We said many times that we would branch out after hitting D+, but we're still with them. The past guest perks are just too good on RCI.

Just off freedom as well today and agree with everything said except savor. We did enjoy it but everyone has different taste in food. Rahul was a fantastic concierge all the waiters and waitresses went above and beyond. And our stateroom attendant was the best. One of the best cruises we have had in a while

My wife and i each had to spend $450 on our seapass cards not including grats. With the PP for each of us then the cabana i put on my card put me over and the perfume my wife bought put her over so we received 3 extra crown and anchor points in addition to being in the RFS so we received 17 points for this cruise.

I wonder if casino cash counts? I might be willing to leave my "fun money" at home and put casino spending on my sea pass temporarily for some extra points. That seems too easy, though, doesn't it?

The guacamole was very good even though it wasnt made table side as advertised. The snapper which i read so much about was not good at all.My wife couldnt even finish it and even i wouldnt eat it and i usually finish all her food.I had the pork carnitas which were dry and tasteless and our friends had the snapper which was so fishy tasting they couldnt eat it.The desserts were very good but small portions that we all had to share. The waiters were very good and all worked very hard and the margaritas were awesome. To each their own or maybe it was just a bad night but im used to mexican food here in my home town of Ft Pierce where even capt Ron visits when he wants good mexican food. And to anyone that knows him you know he enjoys good food.lol

no the casino doesnt count. It reads exclusions:casino, specialty dining booked through the call center, hotel, air, promo OBC and grats.

Glad you had a great time ! FOS is our favorite ship and we will be on her again Sunday for the western cruise . We hope to hear from Rahul this week about a cabana in Labadee. Don't give up on Royal till after you make D+, then try some others. We really love Disney too !

We just got off the Freedom this morning as well....another great cruise on our favorite ship. Wish it was staying in Canaveral!!

As we drove home to Georgia on I-95 we saw many cars with South Carolina plates. Prayers to them that they made it home safely!!!

Ft. Lauderdale. Freedom is being replaced in Port Canaveral by Oasis.

Oh - that's not bad. I was worried that Freedom was going to be moved to Singapore or Barcelona. When you're driving 8 hours to get to Port Canaveral - what's 2 more?

Plus that's where we got on the Allure a couple of years ago. :D

Freedom may end up overseas at some point, but at least she is in Florida until April 2017.
