Working 2 Cruise Posted October 18, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 18, 2015 Can anyone tell me if he plays every night, all night in the atrium, or is there a time slot . Is there other entertainment there each night ? I highly doubt that one person would be playing all night... some people do require sleep! A normal time slot would be between 9 and 11 p.m. not sure if he would be playing in the atrium... There's some form of entertainment offered in the Piazza every evening up until probably 10 or so... DJSOX Posted October 18, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 18, 2015 There is a live from the Royal thread going on right now that answers your question.
Rare Hlitner Posted October 18, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 18, 2015 Perry prefers to work in a cozy lounge (it fits his style). Just know "who you are wearing" and the type of counter tops in your kitchen (Perry fans will understand). Hank

Hank Although I am not a Perry fan I have to agree with Hank that he deserves an intimate space as he interacts with the seated audience. The Piazza on the Royal sounds all wrong in print, at least. Too big. Too many people moving around. The opposite of intimate. Norris
skynight Posted October 18, 2015 #6 Share Posted October 18, 2015 (edited) On the Royal Princess Piano/Singer entertainers normally perform at Crooner's Bar starting around 9:30 or 10pm. It is possible he could perform in the small Wheelhouse Bar area where there is a piano. He probably will also put on a show in the Vista Lounge one evening. If he is very popular with large crowds the CD might move him to the Piazza area, but due to the lack of lounges on the Royal the Piazza is used for many other activities and dancing. Rare Hlitner Posted October 19, 2015 #8 Share Posted October 19, 2015 Perry does usually draw a good crowd as he has many long-time fans. Although we have gone to his show quite a few times we usually limit our attendance to once or twice a cruise. The thing about Perry is that his show has not changed much in 50 years (or at least it seems that long). So once you hear his jokes and the way he interacts with his audience, you have heard it all. But it can be interesting to see the difference in interaction with different audience folks...assuming the same fan club is not up front every show. Hank P.S. "Is that a real Chanel this evening?" buchananglasgow Posted October 19, 2015 Author #9 Share Posted October 19, 2015 Thanks all, as he seems to move around the ship at different times, I'm pretty sure we will be able to avoid his slots pretty well. ;)

Perry whipped out the old barf bag & did the heaves. Absolutely hysterical.
