Age and Height Restrictions for onboard Activities on Anthem

Recommended Posts

I would also be interested in this info as well. We are sailing on the Anthem next June.

For our November cruise, this info was available on the online waivers. For example, it is stated that you need to be 52" to boogie board and 58" to stand-up surf. I was able to set expectations accordingly.

If you don't receive a response on these boards, look in your "Onboard Activities Waivers" under your Cruise Documentation section.

Here's iFly info:

Q: Are there weight/height/age restrictions? Is RipCord by iFLY complimentary?

A: RipCord by iFLY will be complimentary for guests and likely mirror land-based guidelines: Flyers may be as young as three years of age. There is no upper age limit. All flyers must be in good health and physical condition. Those less than 6 feet tall must weigh less than 230 lbs, and those over 6 feet must weigh less than 250 lbs. Children under 18 years of age need to have a parent or guardian to sign their waiver. If you have a prior shoulder dislocation or back or neck problems you should not fly.

On a personal note, last year my 'short for her age' 7 year old loved iFly, the bumper cars, roller skating, rock climbing, and the Trapeze.

I saw that in the live blog thread also and was surprised because previous posters said kid had to be 6 for these activities. The whole thing is dumb any way because the height of one 5 or 6 yr old from another can vary probably as much as a foot. Should be height based and then there's no confusion. Those rides are usually dangerous at under a certain height anyway not under a certain age.
