joyful34 Posted December 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 9, 2015 We have sailed Glory before but I cannot remember if there is a mini-fridge in the cabin or not. Anyone remember, yes there is or no? Thanks!

CRocks Posted December 9, 2015 #5 Share Posted December 9, 2015 Doesn't it depend on the category of the cabin? I know balcony cabins have one.
hftmrock Posted December 9, 2015 #6 Share Posted December 9, 2015 if you do have one it will not keep things cold. it will keep things kinda cool. you really cant leave anything that 'needs' to be refrigerated in there. just an FYI

dallas52 Posted December 9, 2015 #8 Share Posted December 9, 2015 All cabins on Glory have them.
dougtr Posted December 10, 2015 #9 Share Posted December 10, 2015 I find that cracking the wooden door that encloses the fridge lowers the temp of the fridge as there is not enough ventilation for the coils to cool off properly. Crack the cabinet door (not the fridge door) and it will cool much better. I was in an oceanview room in November on the Glory and the definitely have a refrigerator. Anyone know if Sunshine has them in all cabins? I know it used to be only balcony cabins + up.
ctrygl Posted January 10, 2016 #11 Share Posted January 10, 2016 that is exactly what a friend that cruises all the time told me to do. The fridge works better with the cabinet door open
coder01 Posted January 10, 2016 #12 Share Posted January 10, 2016 Is the safe on the Glory one you use with some type of card or is it a keypad?

Every time we leave the room we open that cabinet door. Its amazing how much heat is in there. It works until the cabin steward comes in and closes it again. You'd think that whoever designs these rooms would have figured it out by now.

Some have mini-bars which don't chill items even close to a refrigerator.
