Travel Coffee Pot

RCI doesn't allow you to bring a coffee pot or hot water kettle onboard. They do have them in Junior Suites or higher and on some sailings (from the UK and Australia, I believe), they have the kettles in all cabins. If you're on a ship that does those itineraries, you might ask your stateroom attendant to bring you one. I'm not a fan of having to go fetch my coffee or be woken up by room service in the morning.

What you could do is bring a one-cup French press and your own ground coffee. Hot water is available in the Café Promenade (on many ships), and from the machine it is quite hot, enough so for brewing coffee.

I have seen plastic, less breakable, "travel" French press units.

This is EXACTLY WHAT WE do.

I always bring a one cup coffee maker. I have it in my carry on (not hidden, but in plain sight) and have it out in the cabin. I have never had an issue.... I was surprised to see that it is not allowed, as no one has said anything to me!!
