I just read a CC news article about the departure of Kevin Sheehan after the arrival of Del Rio. I didn't understand the reason for the name change at first but I think the suggestion from NCL CCers to Del Rio is a perfect name for the rat.

I was not aware that Escape had a Skyline Bar. I first saw this on the Disney Dream, but that one was quite hidden and dark. The only thing that concerns me about the one on Escape is the proximity to the Casino and the smoke.

 

It seems like you had quite a night! We are usually worn out by 1am :eek:

Loving the review. My sister, brother-in-law, niece and my parents are all on board with you! I am looking to see if I can see them in your photos...chances are slim since there are 4,200 people on board.

 

Love the idea at stopping at dollar tree for the goodies for the glow party. I just bought glow sticks at Target clearance section that I want to bring on board! We will be on the ship in April.

I wouldn't be concerned; there's a long hallway (wide w/ slot machines) that is non-smoking that is between casino and Skyline. I don't see how there could be second hand smoke in bar.

Ok, I don't get the Embarkation card stuff....how do you get a card? How does this work. I usually go RC...not NCL....sorry, but I don't understand how this process works.

After you check in and get your room key card, you go up the escalator where there is an employee handing out those cards. You just wait for your number to be called before you board the ship. They called our number about 10-15 minutes after we got that card.

You may know this, but Pedialyte is very good for easing the symptoms/pain. Don't know if the sell it onboard. Gatorade would be my second choice. It's the electrolytes that are important. Good Luck!

 

 

 

1pm and finally out of bed. And moving very slowly. I will not be getting my money's worth out of the UBP today.

There was another thread that contained the dailies. In there I saw an advertisement for something called the party patch (or something like that). They are available in the gift store.

 

Maybe this is a good time for a case study???
