Wow.....boarding group 19!!! We were group 5 and got on about 11:20. What time did you guys board??? We've already been exploring a bit and this ship is seriously cool....the grotto out back is beautiful, and the ropes course looks insane. I won't be doing a play by play like Villain here because we don't plan to buy the unlimited plan....but I'll chime in on this thread every now and again if that's OK!!!

 

 

 

Looking forward to a FABULOUS week!!!

 

 

I think we got on a little after noon. Not bad.

Crappy wifi right now.

 

68 degrees F at sailaway. We went on the Quantum of the Seas a year ago today and it was 6 degrees. I'll take 68.

I was also on that Quantum cruise. First time my balcony door was frozen with ice on it, in all my winter sailings from NY!

 

Love Del Rio for the name.....or FDR for short.

I'm so looking forward to this review! I really enjoyed your Live from the Oasis last September as we were on it a few weeks later. I've been reading a lot about the Escape because we're planning a cruise for next year on it and haven't been on any NCL except POA last month. I was surprised when your thread popped up since it seems like you usually are on Royal.

Thanks! Yes, I love Royal however I'm very impressed by the Escape so far. Definitely check out TheDougOut and CamaCama's amazing reviews if you haven't yet.

A little bit. I wanted to periscope sailaway but the wifi said "uh, no Tim".

 

Hopefully it picks up. I was thinking my phone might whistle at me for a scope, unless wifi was sluggish. Your mom and SD having fun?

 

I can't wait to see how her intro to Del Rio goes. :)
