Can you get a drink at the Wonderland bar? Harmony of the Seas

Recommended Posts

Thank you so much steamboats! I think I'm in trouble because I'm going to try every one of them :D

I didn't like the Stowaway....problem is I can't remember what the one was I did like.

(note though I like cocktails consisting of lots of alcohol, ice, fruit and juices)

Is it a best bar because of location? If so, can we use our 3 free drinks there? I know we have to get only those available in the Suite Lounge for cocktail time.

We went to Wonderland Bar just for a drink last night, lovely view and yes we could use our D+ vouchers.

I have looked through the deck plans for Harmony on the Royal website. I can't find Wonderland. I thought this ship had this restaurant. Can someone confirm or am I wrong?

Last week it´s still been there ;)! At least I´ve eaten there and had a drink at the bar.

We really liked the Balsamic Blast at Wonderland on Anthem. I'm hoping I can get it on Harmony.

You have to ask as it´s not on the current menu.

Wanted my Lavender Daiquiri in the Schooner Bar but the "old" nice menus are gone and replaced by a very short menu valid for all bars (except Rising Tide, Boleros, Wonderland). I asked but they don´t have the Monin Lavender Syrup anymore.

I have noticed that the specialty restaurants have specific cocktails (Jamie's, Izumi, in addition to Wonderland), can you go in to get a drink and then choose to eat elsewhere? Do they have stand alone bars? If not, can you order those drinks at another bar?

Except for Wonderland none of them have a stand alone bar. But you can go to 150 CP (Cucumber Basil Martini) or Jamie´s and ask. They will make the drink for you. You can enjoy it in Central Park.

Steamboats - can we use the 3 free drink voucher (on the seapass) towards the specialty drink in Wonderland - and pay the difference? Speaking of which - is there a 'dollar equivalent' for the complimentary drink on the Diamond Seapass?

Thanks.

It´s a pretty short list of signature drinks:

Helios in the Sand (Bacardi Superior Rum, Coco Lopez Cream of Coconut, pineapple juice, mint leaves)

Wondering Ice (Remy Martin VSOP, Bénedictine, Dolin Sweet Vermouth, dashes of Peychaud´s bitters)

Rolling Stone (Ilegal Joven Mezcal, honey, lemon & cucumber juices, yogurt mix, basil leaves)

Dream Catcher (Basil Hayden´s Bourbon, Grand Marnier, apricot brandy, lemon & orange juices, simple syrup)

The Stowaway (Talisker Scotch Whisky, port, lemon & orange juices, sugar)

We had the Rolling Stone and the Dream Catcher. I ordered the Dream Catcher and DH the Rolling Stone. We swapped drinks as we both said the other is more our taste.

The bar is upstairs you will not really see the restaurant or get the idea of the place. It is a nice bar.....but you really will not experience Wonderland.

Not necessarily.

The view from the bar (to your left when sitting at the bar) of the huge window, curtains, and staircase. There are also a few places to sit near the railing where there is a view of the dining area below. If a closer look at the restaurant is desired, ask the hostess if you can walk down the staircase.

While having a drink at the Wonderland bar we met a couple on their first cruise who were not planning to eat at the restaurant. We asked the hostess if they could have a closer look at the restaurant and an escorted tour was given to them. They were impressed with the facility and made reservations for the following night.

On the Harmony, the Wonderland Bar does not open until 5:30 pm. We always stopped here prior to dinner for a drink. Victor, the bartender, was excellent. During our August cruise, there was a martini tasting/class each sea day in the afternoon at Wonderland. Our group of 8 did the class 3 times. We had a blast.
