Premier Casino Cruise - Splendor

I was on a 5 night cruise last month and accumulated over 15,000 points. I never got a BB offer from casino on the last night. I can't seem to get a Premier offer either. What am I doing wrong?

If you already have another cruise booked when you cruise, the ship-based casino staff are not allowed to give you a bounce-back offer. But that doesn't mean you are not qualified for a bounce-back offer. Either call your PVP and ask or call the land-based casino staff after you get back home from your cruise. And 15,000 points should qualify you for a bounce-back offer.

IMO, the bounce-back offers are much more valuable than the premier offers. My bounce-back offers this year are free cruises, and I just have to pay the taxes and port charges. The premier offers I receive cost $300 to $400 or so per person plus taxes and port charges, and the gifts onboard are certainly not worth that much more.

You aren't doing anything wrong. Just don't be bashful in calling and asking what you are qualified for. Just understand you won't get a bounce-back offer on the ship if you already have another cruise booked.

On our last cruise there was a family doing just that. She (the wife I suppose) had his card in a poker machine, within 6 feet of him playing Let It Ride at the same table as me. She hit a Royal and they wouldn't pay it. They were so mad. All week different people kept coming to him to get his card to play slots. The dealer and pit boss were paying very close attention to what they were doing. He also had the DOU card attached to his players card so whoever had the card would get the drinks.

The DOU card is just for show. Your folio is keyed to show the drinks are comped in the casino.

There have been many, many threads speculating on why some people get certain casino offers and others don't. No one knows for sure and the Players Club isn't going to give away their secret.

I'll be going on my 4th Premier cruise at the end of the month in just under 2 years (on Splendor).

I'm not a high roller. I've rarely even accumulated enough points for the DOU card on regular sailings, so it isn't that. I think what initially triggered it was I booked a "regular" casino rate back in 2012. That was nothing but a slightly discounted cabin; no other perks. I spent more than usual on my next sailing, and then suddenly the Premier offers started.

I've never received a bounce-back or a pack-and-play offer, but it's as though once I received a Premier offer - and booked it - I now continue to get them.

I haven't kept track, but the offers seem to come out every few months; usually a couple of weeks after one round ends, another shows up. Quarterly, maybe? With about a dozen different sailings available each time. The cabins sell quickly.

Mine aren't free cabins; mine are a discounted rate and never more than $300 casino cash. Still, I enjoy them, and as mostly a solo on these sailings, the savings on the cabin fare, free drinks, and the casino cash really helps with my budget. These have been one of the main reasons I've been able to sail more often the past few years.

I usually write reviews, and will probably write at least a brief one when I return. It will also be my 3rd time on Splendor in 3 years. Not my favorite ship, but I don't really sail for the ship.

My family and I went on a bounce back offer this August. My sister in law joined us. She spent $40 total in the casino and got a free cruise offer from the casino.

My wife also got a free cruise offer(approx 4000 points). I did not get an offer, (had around 4000 points).

There does not seem to be any logic for these offers.

I will say that we did eventually get a premier offer each, and have that booked for Jan 17 on the Splendor. Our first premier... Looking forward to the priority benefits.

Can anyone tell me the casino host name on the Splendor. My first cruise on this ship but have a FB group started and we are going to do a slot pull, so would like to know who to see about setting up time and day.

Only 49 days till the cruise, so excited.

If there is anything you can share about the casino and hosts that would make this cruise better please Share.

Thank you

With the DOU card do you have to be playing the slots or table games to get the drinks or can you get the drink yourself at the casino bar?

So,usually playing in the casino, they will come to you while you are playing. Supposed to only get this while playing.

On occasion, the casino bartender may wave you over...it depends on how friendly you become with them. Tips help also.

I was told tonight that they are phasing out the bounce back offers. We received a bounce back offer just getting off the liberty but when I called to book there are very few that they offer in fact the only one we could get was in March and there was no insides available and had to upgrade to an ocean view room And was told they were going to stop them completely!

We actually got a bounce back from our premiere cruise last month. Used it to book a free 8 day. We also both got new premiere offers just the other day.

I will say the premiere cruise was a blast but it's hard to turn day a free one!

I was given different information totally, and have used the different information to book three times so far, with another coming up in May.

Some years ago, there were many more cruises to choose from, however you had to sail within two months. They changed that, whereby there were lesser cruises BUT, you got six months to sail so it ended up in fact you did have a larger choice.

They have now added to that plan in that, if you CANNOT find something you want to go on, you can request a cash equivalent... and book ANY CRUISE you wish, as long as it is not a casino promotion.

I have used cash equivalents to book several cruises in the past, and used my cash equivalent ( with 100 to spare) to book 10 night journeys cruise for two in May on Sunshine.

A relative of mine, first ever bounce back, couldnt find anything and was offered the cash equivalent. Its something very new.

the amount of cash you are offered depends upon the type of bounceback you have. An interior is somewhere around 550 600 i had a balcony offer for which i got 2400.

I booked various things, once a 4 day victory , interior, which cost me 900 and i went to the cage and received my 2400

upcoming sunshine i am receiving 2400 but have booked an OV for four people ( two children) and it cost me 2300. I will get my 2400 on board.

What do you mean by cash equivalent for future cruise? I received my first premier invite but the dates don't work for me but would love to use towards a different cruise.
