sebas030 Posted September 11, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2016 Good day to all, I am thinking of booking with RCCL on the Anthen for my next cruise ! I tried to get a price for a family room for 3 adults and 2 kids and the RCCL website says I need to call for bookings over 4 pax !?! Do I really have to call to get a price ? Are there stateroom categories that can accomodate 5 pax ? and what would be those categories ? Thank you all in advance ! .
Clarea Posted September 11, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 11, 2016 Yes, you must call (or use a travel agent) to get prices for staterooms that have a minimum occupancy of more than 4 guests.
dcgrumpy Posted September 11, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 11, 2016 Yes there are family cabins that sleep 5 and yes you have to call for pricing. I hate having to call for pricing. I like comparing prices for different cruises and dates before booking and would much rather check prices myself instead of calling.
sebas030 Posted September 11, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted September 11, 2016 Wow...talk about inconvenient... I am a planner and I want to be able to compare price, cabin location, cabin categories for multiple sailings and at different times before I book it... Thank you for the answers ! spookwife Posted September 11, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 11, 2016 Yea. All cabins that hold 5+ must be called directly as there are not many of them and they do have a minimum requirement until after final payment. Keep in mind that often, 2 adjoining or connecting cabins is actually cheaper and can provide an additional bathroom which for many is a big plus over stuffing everyone into one cabin Sent from my iPad using Forums
cb at sea Posted September 11, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 11, 2016 Not inconvenient at all...simply call, with the deck plans in front of you..get the prices and write them down, then compare to other lines! How hard is that?

Thank you for your answer, .

Thank you for your answer, . There IS currently a "kids sail free" promotion, so call and find out the family cabin prices!!! (unless it *just* expired!) Nope, it's still there, but not on all ships on all sailings. Edited September 11, 2016 by Merion_Mom
rpp77 Posted September 12, 2016 #9 Share Posted September 12, 2016 One other thing to consider is booking adjoining staterooms. It works out great for us, we've got 2 adults & 3 kids. You get double any OBC's, 2 balconies are converted into 1 big one and 2 bathrooms!
