Enjoying your posts, we'll be boarding the day you get off:) I guess we don't have to wonder if the Christmas tree will be up:D

The ship is in full Christmas swing. Although the bulk of decorations seem to be on the Promenade.

Happy to report that we are finding the Windjammer quality and selection to be really good. Much better than recent cruises.

The comedy of errors on my cabin door continues. Now it will close behind me but the deadbolt is once again inoperative.

So let's take a moment to breathe from the quiet library on deck 7 (where a bunch of kids are doing homework) and take in the Promenade:

Thanks for this review!

A couple of quick questions, is there really a topless deck?

Where would one go for powerade and vitamin water on Indy?

I'd only thought of powerade as available from freestyle machines.

Yes, that's what they mean by St Tropez as far as topless sunning :) it's at the very top of the ship.

There are no freestyle machines on the ship, so I'm not sure where you would go to get the Powerade etc. but it should be available.

I am surprised that they still have the St Tropez thing still going while cruising out of US ports. Never seen that before. It's usually in place for the Europe or med sailings.

I've only sailed out of N American ports and I always remember it - ?

I thought topless sunbathing was not aloud out of US ports. I never sailed Indy, only Liberty, Frredom, serenade, navigator and allure and never saw a topless sunbathing section on any of them. Did see the odd topless in various quiet areas on liberty on a med cruise and no one bothered them because that is pretty common and acceptable over there.

Top cruiser = 736 points. Next two in the 5's and 4's. It has been ages since I've seen two D+ in the mix. That explains the quiet of the DL.

I think it is wonderful that D+ are still in the running sometimes. :D It would be exciting for them (us) and on most sailings, the lower point people don't have a shot at top cruiser. :D
