I've found it better for us to get the wine delivered to the stateroom, since we can now take the wine to the dining room without a corkage fee. Too many times I had gone to the dining room, told our waiter we should have some wine from C&A, and gotten the look like I was speaking Martian. Sometimes it took 2 or 3 nights before they found our wine. I have better luck getting the wine with stateroom delivery.

I had no clue what the SR or DR was.... the Casino Host sent a bottle twice on Kendall..... we are not big red wine drinkers so since we were with a group, we just took them to the table at dinner and they loved it... (I paid the corking fee)

 

We are disappointed that Royal only offers one Riesling aboard the ship, and it has a screw off top, not even a cork. We like a sweet Riesling but not Red wines as seems to be common.

Try the Lindemans Moscato. Or the Beringers White Zin

No changes at the 525 point level that I can see. Our wine choices are the same.

 

So you still have multiple choice of other wines like merlot, shiraz, pinot grigio, etc. ?

 

Bob do you still have the lower level Diamond Gift Preferences of water, soda, beer, etc. selection option showing in your My Cruises account?

Like I posted ours for these have disappeared in both of our accounts.

How many years ago was this? Royal doesn't have a corkage fee any longer. Plus why would you even pay a corkage fee on a RCI complimentary bottle of wine?

Yes, as far as I can tell, I have the same choices both in the "Gift Preference" dropdown and the "Bonus Gift Preference" (175, 350, and 525 point) dropdowns.

We get the 175 and 350 menus, they look the same except I noticed one of the choices is fruit basket and white zin. That's a win. :D Not sure if that was there before, but why wouldn't you take it if you were getting white zin anyway.

 

Beer selections are still there for welcome gift. :D

You could be correct. Can't say I specifically saw a corkage fee, I just assumed....

No I am correct about no corkage fee. In your previous post in parenthesis you said "I paid the corking fee". Just don't want to confuse some here on CC that may not know RCI doesn't charge a corkage fee no matter where the wine is opened and consumed.

Well in both mine and Cheryl's C&A Profile for Gift Preference it no longer shows the Gift Preference dropdown and only a limited Bonus Gift Preference dropdown for the 175 points level as shown in the screen shot below.

Is anyone else getting only this? :mad:

I likely will call the C&A desk at RCI to see why this is happening to us, :(

That is interesting. Maybe the Castle Rock Cabernet Sauvignon is now the standard gift red as it is the only red wine offered in the D+ Bonus Gift menu DW and I now have in our C&A Profiles.

Bob does the Castle Rock Cab show in the Bonus Gift dropdown you are seeing in your profile's gift preference?

Have you tried the usual: clearing cookies, cache, and trying a different browser?

Yes, I considered usual suspects. Cleared cookies, cache tried three different devices, Win7 computer, Win10 one , I-pad and 4 different browsers. Got the same on all.

 

Could someone post or do a screen shot of the list of available wines they are seeing on their C&A 175 points level Bonus Gift Preference dropdown menu? Thanks.

Just a note that in order to accurately see the 175 point menu, the logged in user has to have between 175 and 349 points. The drop down marked "175 points" changes when the logged in user has between 350 and 524 points, and changes again at 525 points or more.
