Miami hotel recommendations

Booked on the Vista June 3rd. We always stay near the port with a view of the ships. It's been awhile. Would you choose Intercontinental, Marriott Bisacyne Bay, downtown Hilton or Embassy Suites!?! We don't care about free breakfast as we save room for the ship [emoji41] Thanks

I would strongly recommend JW Marriott Marquis. It is a gorgeous hotel with fantastic views of the ships. It's around the same price as the Intercontinental.

JW is a wonderful hotel. OP, you can also check out the Florida Departure board for many hotels from different home ports.

We don't like to stay in Miami. We typically fly into and stay in Fort Lauderdale. The one time we did stay in Miami, we stayed at Embassy Suites. Really liked it although it isn't near the port.

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn, Port of Miami-Downtown, though I am not a doctor. It is reasonably priced and right across the street from Bayside Marketplace

Our go to is a harbor view over looking the ships at the IC. It has become our tradition when cruising out of Miami.

I would also consider the Doubletree - some rooms with a view of the port lus an amazing pool! :cool:
