Lee2385 Posted December 31, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2016 Booked on the Vista June 3rd. We always stay near the port with a view of the ships. It's been awhile. Would you choose Intercontinental, Marriott Bisacyne Bay, downtown Hilton or Embassy Suites!?! We don't care about free breakfast as we save room for the ship [emoji41] Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
Cruisin 4 Ever Posted December 31, 2016 #2 Share Posted December 31, 2016 I would strongly recommend JW Marriott Marquis. It is a gorgeous hotel with fantastic views of the ships. It's around the same price as the Intercontinental.
Rare jimbo5544 Posted December 31, 2016 #3 Share Posted December 31, 2016 JW is a wonderful hotel. OP, you can also check out the Florida Departure board for many hotels from different home ports. Sent from my iPad using Forums
etwright Posted December 31, 2016 #4 Share Posted December 31, 2016 We don't like to stay in Miami. We typically fly into and stay in Fort Lauderdale. The one time we did stay in Miami, we stayed at Embassy Suites. Really liked it although it isn't near the port.
HawkIVette Posted December 31, 2016 #5 Share Posted December 31, 2016 (edited) I have stayed at the Holiday Inn, Port of Miami-Downtown, though I am not a doctor. It is reasonably priced and right across the street from Bayside Marketplace Edited December 31, 2016 by HawkIVette
Rare Keith1010 Posted December 31, 2016 #6 Share Posted December 31, 2016 Of the ones you mentioned I would go with Intercontinental. We are in Miami right now as I post this. Keith

Keith Our go to is a harbor view over looking the ships at the IC. It has become our tradition when cruising out of Miami.
JohninDC Posted January 1, 2017 #8 Share Posted January 1, 2017 I would also consider the Doubletree - some rooms with a view of the port lus an amazing pool!
