LIVE from NAVIGATOR of the Seas - March 3, 2017

Dinner at Giovanni's tonight was light years better than Chops was last night.

Scallops (minus the pesto sauce which I am allergic to).

Baked eggplant parm Italian style - not bad but I like the eggplant parm at Jamie's Italian much better.

There has been just a crazy amount of specialty restaurant upselling going on the past two days. 5 times in the Windjammer yesterday we were approached by someone trying to get us to book Chops, Giovanni's or Sabor. QUOTE]

We had the same problem on the Feb 3 sailing. It was very irritating to say the least... almost like being on Caribbean island where the vendors keep harassing you. We had this happen while sitting in bars etc on Navigator ... one time when we told the guy we enjoy the main dining room and the people we are with he asked what time we ate and the table we were at so that he could come by.., we basically told him enough is enough and in a polite way move on!

Last night we saw someone from Sabor walking around with a menu in the casino trying to get people to go there. Yeah great idea, annoy gamblers that are losing money. That's not going to end well.

I'm loving your review by the way Sayvan. Great job. I need to catch up at some point.

"Hockey Horns". You pick your favorite team and it will play the goal horn from the home arena. It even "boos" when the other team scores.

I can't believe I'm helping a Rangers fan out. [emoji3]

What sort of crowd is on the ship? We're booked for this itin next year. Hope there is enough for kids on Navigator.

We sailed on NAV with a 4 year old when she was out of Galveston and she had a GREAT time! We also had an 8 year old who also had a fantastic trip! Both of them so enjoy the kids clubs though and spent a lot of time in them.

The only thing that was a little challenging with the 4yo was the pool because there is no dedicated kids area - but there was a shallow sitting area on the side that she was able to play in if I didn't also want to be in the pool with her.
