MooNGaTe27 Posted March 6, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2017 Does any one know if you need to ask for a orange tag at the port if you are Platinum so that your bags get to your cabin sooner. We are leaving out of Port Canaveral?
cccer Posted March 6, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2017 Your luggage tags that you print will either say priority or FTTF and that is what will alert them to get your bag to your room early.
SadieN Posted March 6, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 6, 2017 Long Beach is no longer doing the orange stickers. 'PRIORITY' is now written large enough to see.
Port of Tampa Posted March 6, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 6, 2017 Tampa did not do orange stickers in January but Canaveral did in February...so guess its hit and miss. Cheers and happy cruising!
13cheermom Posted March 6, 2017 #5 Share Posted March 6, 2017 We have always had them at Port Canaveral in the past. Guess we will ask for it if the porters have them out if not not a big deal. I did notice the priority tags are larger and more noticeable now in the last set I just printed out. Those orange stickers are kinda messy to get off your regular luggage tags anyway. LSUcajunmom Posted March 6, 2017 #6 Share Posted March 6, 2017 You can print them, so no need to ask. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Forums mobile app

JMAE Posted March 7, 2017 #8 Share Posted March 7, 2017 We have had the orange tape on past cruises. Sent from my XT1585 using Forums mobile app
skrufy Posted March 7, 2017 #9 Share Posted March 7, 2017 Last month we had an orange sticker put on our luggage at Miami. Our first Platinum cruise the porter at N.O. didn't put a sticker on our luggage and we were not aware of the process. Our luggage arrived at 5pm. If one is not attached I would ask the porter about them.
crusinpsychRN Posted March 7, 2017 #10 Share Posted March 7, 2017 If I don't get an orange sticker I don't get luggage quickly. No, you can't print it out from on line.

Everyone's tag on that deck is the same color. You will still need to ask for the orange sticker.

LSUcajunmom Posted April 1, 2017 #14 Share Posted April 1, 2017 No, never have had an orange sticker since turning platinum, just an orange luggage tag. This is actually a friend of mines. Its for FTTF. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Forums mobile app

FTTF has nothing to do with it in this case.
LSUcajunmom Posted April 1, 2017 #16 Share Posted April 1, 2017 It says "Priority". That's what the porter look at when loading. Never a sticker in NO. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Forums mobile app

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Forums mobile app I'm just going on experience. In Miami no sticker, no speedy delivery. Accidentally tested this theory out 3 cruises ago. The only thing that is easily spotted is the bright orange tag and that's what they look for. On the 19th on Vista they automatically put the orange sticker for both our Platinum bag and FTTF. First time I didn't have to remind them.
phoneman69 Posted April 1, 2017 #18 Share Posted April 1, 2017 My tags are blue because of the deck where on but still have Priority printed on them because of our Platinum status. Have never had Orange stickers and bags always at room early. Strange walking down the hall and seeing bags at only 2 cabins my and another FTTF cabin. Cruising out of San Juan in Sept. will see if stickers that port never left from that port.
LSUcajunmom Posted April 1, 2017 #19 Share Posted April 1, 2017 Yes, I think my last cruise, my luggage Tags were purple w "Priority" on them and luggage was there early. Just going my experience also w no stickers. It may be an individual port thing. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Forums mobile app
