We have picked check in times way before final payment. Go to on line check in and on the far left their is the option. On my cruise for January it is not there yet but am expecting it to come up in the next few weeks.

Can you book check in times before you book and inform them of your flights? Mine wants our passport info and flight times for our January cruise. Flights not booked yet

Read on another thread that you can't book check in times until 3 months out from sailing. They said that was per Carnival customer service.

Not true. We just got home today from the Breeze. This cruise was booked back in August, 2016 and as soon as I booked it, I went through the online check-in process and selected our 10:30 check-in time.

I came here to look for answers to this as well! I heard so many rumors on the ship about what happened. Our friends on the ship first saw workers Welding something on the ship, then they saw people looking in the water with flash lights like someone had fallen in.

I was on the Breeze last week. We were at Mahogany Bay at the, same time Wednesday March 8th. What happened with or on the Magic that day ? We had to wait until well pass 8 pm to leave for Belize because something was up with y'all.

We were told by a crew member that four people had not returned by the time that the gangway was ready to close, but that they had been on a Carnival shore excursion so we had to wait for them. Well after dark and still waiting to leave we went up on the front deck on deck 10 and watched groups searching the beach area, below the chair lifts, and in the rear part of the woods. There were two boats searching the water, and the ships bridge spotlight was also searching the water reapeatedly. No one ever got back on board that we saw, so I don't know the outcome of it all.

I am assuming you are platinum because you mentioned the gift. I have a question did you go to Belize if so it was tender, Was there a special line for Platinum to get off the ship and tender? or did you have to go to the platinum desk and ask to be accompanied? I have heard it both ways Thanks

I am platinum and I went to the platinum desk and was accompanied. That way there is no confusion and we got through much quicker. We have done it both ways but prefer this way.

Yea..you can't do that until after final payment. It will be on your boarding pass.

That's not true. We already were able to pick our time and our final payment isn't due for another 3 weeks. We only have a deposit down.

Was the casino as smokey as people are saying it is?

No. I walked thru the casino several times and did not think the smoke was a big issue at all...Was on a RCC ship in november and that casinos smoke was wayyyy worse.

We were also on the March 4 sailing. Great cruise. IMO having sailed the Dream, the Breeze and now the Magic, there is nothing particular to this class of ship (Dream Class or Super Destiny) that would cause the Magic to have any more or less smoke in the Casino than any other ship in the fleet.

We are also just off magic. Sailed March 4. We are very sad to be home as we loved loved us some carnival magic!! Top notch boat and crew! Don't have one bad thing to say..We had room 9274. Enjoyed this location very very much. Very convenient to most everything. We had 3 women in our room. Getting ready can get congested with three women having to shower...So I learned of a GREAT place to shower. I'd go up to floor 14 ..Above the gym and spa to the spa ladies locker room and it's open all of the time...Huge walk in showers and towels up there. I loved it...Even hairdryers too. I can barely shave my legs in those showers in the rooms..So here I had plenty of room! It was very close to my room too so I didn't have far to go...Just up. We loved all of the ports of call too. Eastern Caribbean is so nice and fun. We made the bestest of friends with our early dining wait staff...They were simply awesome! Fauzi our room steward did a good job too. We got room service a few nights for late night snacks..Fast and efficient. A great service. Food was wonderful...Any questions ...Ask!!! Our favorite ship and cruise so far!

Good thinking in using the gym and spa for the shower! Will share your experience to friends who may be similarly situated in the future.

LOL ok I have to say it. How can you both sail March 4th on the same ship and one does the eastern Caribbean and the other the western Caribbean???

My bad.. I was thinking eastern..but guess it wasn't..lol. We went to Cozumel..Belize..Rostan.costa maya..the following week after ours must have been eastern.

My cruises is in October and I've already picked my check-in time. But we are going to be on the Vista so I don't know if that matters.

Isn't it awesome to use the spa shower?! We usually have 4 in a room so we can get a balcony (My husband, two sons and me). I always send the guys up to us that shower so I have the bathroom to myself :) I didn't realize they had hairdryers up there! Are they like the ones in the room? Could I plug in my curling iron?
