Once back at our cabin I had found our debarkation materials including the zone tags and our customs form. I guess our cruise is really coming to the end. Here is the generic debarkation information……

At 3:15pm it was time for our VIFP party. Because there were so many Platinum and Diamond cruisers aboard, they had to schedule two parties. Here are our invites…..

After the party Patti went back to the cabin to do her packing. I went up to the Mermaid’s Grille for our last game of LCR for this cruise.

I made one last trip to the casino and had another great session. I was tempted to stay longer, but since I had gotten back to even I decided that was good enough!

I made it back to the cabin in time to catch the last sunset of the cruise. Boy it was freezing out on the balcony……

Tonight, Ken sang “The Way You Looked Tonight”. The waiters sang “Leaving on a Fun Ship”. Agapito and I are both sad that the cruise is over! Lol…..

Tonight in the Taj Mahal was the “Hasbro, The Game Show”, followed by the “Back to the 50’s” show.

Once again at the Punchliner’s it was Scotty K and Al Katz.

We chose to call it a cruise and head back to the cabin. This is the saddest picture of all……

Jeff and Patti, What a great job from the fantastic pictures and the great recaps of all you did on and off the ship. You gave me some great excursions to try when we visit these Islands again. Once again thank you for taking us on a wonderful journey. Till next time Keep smiling and cruise on. Gary:)

Just want to say that this is a fantastic review. Thank you! We haven't sailed Carnival in over 10 years and just before looking at this forum, we booked the Pride for 2018. Well now, thanks to you we know the Pride. Great job!!!

Thank you so much for reading!! I'm sure you will enjoy the Pride. She is a great ship, and remains our favorite!

Sunday, March 12th - Debarkation Day - Boooooooo!!!

We woke up at 6am, just as we were passing under the Key Bridge. I went out on the balcony to take some pictures as we pulled into Baltimore, and it was 25 degrees outside. Brrrr.

The Carnival Pride was officially back and docked in Baltimore at 7am. We weren’t doing self- assist so we hung out in the cabin until 8am, when we then made our way down to the Red Frog Pub where Diamond members would wait to be led off. They had coffee, tea, juice, Danish, and cookies available while we were waiting…..

At exactly 9am, they came and led us off the ship. The gangway in Baltimore had been repaired, so we debarked through the lobby on Deck 2.

Going through customs was a breeze, though finding our luggage was a little harder than usual, given the amount of luggage in the Zone 1 area. While we were here I made the call to the Best Western to send the shuttle over to pick us up.

Once we found our luggage, getting a porter was easy, and he took us right to where the shuttle would pick us up. Here is the Carnival Pride back in Baltimore, where I hope she stays!!!

The Cruise Maryland Terminal…..

We waited about twenty minutes or so for the shuttle to show up. By now there were three other couples, including our new friends Ken and Kris, joining us for the ride back to the Best Western.

We were back at the Best Western at around 10am. After saying our goodbyes to our new cruise friends, we loaded up the car and began our trip back to New Jersey. As we were travelling on I-895, we were able to get this one last shot of the Carnival Pride docked in Baltimore……..

After a three hour ride, we were back at home again, another wonderful cruise completed. THE END.

In a few months I'll be cruising on the Pride for the first time, so I've thoroughly enjoyed your review, felt like I was enjoying the cruise right along with you and Patti. I have some food questions. Chopsticks looks great and I can't wait to try it. Is the menu the same every day? And what is X.O sauce? Last question: why didn't you go to breakfast on disembark day? You can get room service or Lido deck breakfast on the Pride on the last day can't you?

Glad that you enjoyed the review! Chopsticks menu varies a little each day. Don't know what X.O means, but it was spicy and good!

Breakfast is available from room service and the Lido the last morning. We just weren't that hungry, and we knew there would be coffee and Danish at the Diamond waiting area.

Just wanted to say thank you for the review and for giving me the idea on what to do when I'm in St. Maarten in November. Already put my deposit down for that AI.

Thanks for following along! You will enjoy the Sonesta. Good food and drinks!

How DARE Carnival kicks You and Patti off the Pride. LOL Glad you folks had a GREAT time on the Pride. The Pride had change since I was on here back in 2002.

The 2.0 upgrades installed a few years back made her even better!! :D
