PIER IN San Juan

Recommended Posts

Hello,

We are going on the Harmony next month, eastern Caribbean and docking a day in San Juan, does anybody know which pier the Harmony docks at there?

She will dock at one of the Old San Juan piers, right in the city.

Does Adventure of the Seas dock at the other pier location? (Pan Am, I believe.)

Yes, when RC ships (currently Adventure and Jewel) are doing initial embarkation / final disembarkation, they use the Pan Am pier.

I called because I am on harmony in June and the rep put me on hold for a while to check and said it's in pan am. Although last year I was on allure and docked in San Juan.

Reps do not have a great track record for providing accurate info.

You've posted this comment before...and many of us have (not surprised) disagreed with what the rep told you. The old town pier has been improved (expanded) and can accommodate this size of ship.

Looking forward to what you personally find to be the case when you cruise if you'll post when you return ;)

I can't wait to know for sure!

BTW, the airport is near the Pan Am pier right?

There is a General Aviation airport near the Pan Am pier, but it's not the main commercial airport SJU.

Ahh. I haven't yet started investigating where to stay when we fly in. Don't know how close the airport, OSJ and the pier are in proximity.

Thanks

I'd say the Pan Am pier is around a 15 minute taxi ride from SJU.
