Strophic Posted May 18, 2017 #3 Share Posted May 18, 2017 I skipped last week because I hadn't made any progress. But I broke through my short plateau as of this morning and lost 1.6 lbs, down to 211.8 :) My easy goal of 211 by end of May is going to be in the bag; stretch goal of 207 on Memorial day probably won't happen, but that's alright. As long as the number goes down :D
bmetz34 Posted May 18, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 18, 2017 Same spot as last week. Too many celebrations for the toddlers bday. Back on track. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
winewanderer Posted May 18, 2017 #5 Share Posted May 18, 2017 Hello, Belle, sorry you have the blahs, better soon. I found my scale, yeah. Stayed the same, which is great. Kasi, welcome back. Strophic, congrats on loss and your goals. Bmetz, at least we're not gaining..... H Hubby and I are headed to San Diego today for a few days for his 50th high school reunion. Goodness, how time flies. Hope fully I don't gain. Have a great week, Diana

shootr Posted May 19, 2017 #8 Share Posted May 19, 2017 Top of the morning all (or whatever the UK expression is...) I'm still clinging to the hope that I'm more or less even when we get home Sunday from the 2 week UK Adventure... I'm almost doubting the mileage tracking - but my legs and the missus' blisters say otherwise - pooped at the end of each day. Still one "bad" meal per day and a couple adult beverages, but rest of the day is healthy snacks is and water. Another bucket list item ticked off the list - oldest cigar shop I know of: This stuff was OK too... I think everyone is having a good time... Sorry for being off topic - I guess all I can say is how happy I am to be staying at 190 vs the 260 I was at years ago when I found Belle's weekly threads. Being able to endure an adventure like this comfortably is a real treasure, and worth all those years of commitment to drop and maintain weight. So hang tough and know there is a real pot of gold at the end of the crappy journey of weight loss. Off to the Royal Observatory and who knows what else - see ya'! Strophic Posted May 19, 2017 #9 Share Posted May 19, 2017 Shootr, it takes an incredible amount of self control to stick to a health goal even when you're on vacation. Good for you! I lost another 1.2 lbs since yesterday. Looks like I stay the same for two weeks and then it all comes off at once :P But I'm happy to have hit my end-of-May weight goal early. 207 by Memorial day might be just barely doable now, depending if I have any more post-plateau weight that will come off in the next couple days. About a year ago, I fell off the wagon and gained about 20-25 lbs. I would love to lose 20 pounds by our cruise in October. Hoping to start a new beginning today!! Marine91 Posted May 22, 2017 #16 Share Posted May 22, 2017 Marine.. A very good loss for you too. Also what are you doing. Meal replacement shake for breakfast. Another shake and a protein bar for lunch and a sensible dinner with lean meats and reasonable carbs with trying to stay between 1250 and 1500 calories a day. In addition to 5 days of cardio and 2 days of weight training a week.
