I'm having problems communicating with Celebrity and my travel agent is very vague. I was told by travel agent that I would receive 2 promotions.

One is OBC and the other is Classic Beverage Package.

My travel agent pointed out 2 codes and told me that one is in fact OBC and the other Classic Alcohol Beverage Package, she did not seem real sure.

I would appreciate if someone could verify this by the codes, thanks.

These codes are slightly different than ones that I have seen in the past; however, the BEVCL definitely stands for the Classic Beverage Package - I'm guessing that the additional INGRAT means including the 18% gratuity that would be added to the base price of $55 per person per day if you bought the package rather than receiving it as a perk.

With these codes, you should see an associated dollar amount which should help you identify what they are (for example, multiply your daily cabin gratuity by the number of nights in your cruise)

Also, in the past I have seen offsetting positive and negative dollar amounts e.g. positive for the actual gratuities charged and negative for the promotional perk.

BEVCLINGRAT - we have this code on our cruise later this month. BEVCLINGRAT equates to classic beverage package plus gratuities for cruise staff NOT grats for the beverage package. Your invoice should show the amount charged inc. grats then a discount to neutralise the package.

 

 

I think the other code relates to OMC, had similar/if not same in the past - not sure how much OMC as that would be subject to cabin type. Contact Celebrity Guest services to clarify...they should be able to help.

PROMO2C is the negative amount applied to the beverage package . I have the classic package shown on my reservation as a plus charge then the other code showing it as a negative charge
