Suites Manager Equinox - Any Recent Reviews

Do any recent suite cruisers on the Equinox have reviews on the new suite manager position? We are doing our first Celebrity Cruise (previous RCL and Princess) in April and haven't been able find much info about this position. Thanks

We just returned with Anca as the suite manager. We saw her all the time and talked to her frequently. She was in Michaels Club quite a bit. We were invited to a sail in party on the helipad when we arrived in Aruba. She was present as well as a number of other officers.

We sailed on Millennium on 8/25 when Denny was the newly promoted suites manager. We saw him many times in Michaels Club and in other areas of the ship. He seemed to have more responsibilities than over seeing the butlers.

 

Sailing from Seward is a bit different from other ports so I don't know if the early luggage delivery worked, we were in a Royal Suite and did have ours shortly after we got into the suite. Disembarkation in Vancouver was the same as far as luggage pick up from the suite and in the terminal.

Some may remember Anca from when she was Michael's Club Concierge. She is now the Suite Manager. She is in charge of the butlers. I can't provide any reviews but that's because she mostly is behind the scenes now.

 

 

 

We met Anca on Silhouette in 2015. She is perhaps the best Michael's Club Concierge we have had the privilege of meeting. She is more than qualified to take on the new Suites Manager role. Equinox is privileged to have her on board.

 

It is our understanding that the Suites Manager looks after the Royal Suites and higher cruise guests.

 

We just came back from a Pacific Coast cruise on Infinity where we were re-acquainted with Erick Guzman who was our Michael's Club Concierge on Infinity in Oct 2016. Erick is now the Suites Manager on Infinity (he was leaving for vacation when we disembarked).

 

We stayed in a Sky Suite for this cruise, and although we knew Erick from a previous cruise, we received all of our correspondence from Pricilla, who was the Michael's Club Concierge.

Pricilla was extremely accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. I suspect the new role of Suites Manager gives a bit of relief to the Michael's Club Concierge in a role that was previously expected to service all suite guests.

 

The new Suites Managers are amounting to the best of the best from the Michael's Club Concierges, so the attention to detail should be sufficient to handle even the "fussiest" of higher level suites guests.

We met Anca on the 9/15/17 Equinox sailing; During the cruise we ran into her several times, as well as in Michael's club; She was very eager to help and seemed very detail oriented. We didnt have any issues with our suite or butler (Emir, who is excellent) , it was just nice to see someone in her role wanting to address issues rather than sweep them under the carpet... Now if she could just fix the celeb web site....

We were on Equinox Sept. 4-15, during all the changes because of Irma. We had a CS. There were multiple encounters with Anca daily. We saw her in Michael's Club, outside Luminae, and many locations around the ship. We had, in the big scope of things, a minor mechanical issue in our suite. We started with our cabin steward, who referred it to our butler. We never addressed the issue directly with Anca, but she was clearly involved and followed up with us to make sure we were happy with the resolution. There isn't enough praise for her and the suite manager position. Jole, the MC Concierge, was also aware of the issue. All checked in with us routinely to make sure that the issue was resolved.

 

Anca was also proactive in informing us about the situation in Miami and our options for contacting family/friends during the hurricane.

 

She is delightful and is perfect for her position. She is the first to hold this position and has set a very high standard.
