Took a taxi van with others to a public beach. Beautiful drive. Very impressed with highway very nice beach

Does anyone know when they will have the excursions up on our booking manager? Just want to see what they offer and get ideas since I have never been to any of these ports before.

It's a dump you have not missed anything.

 

 

It's a dump if you stay in the immediate port area, which I never do.....There are several hotels and resorts in La Romana where you can spend a nice beach day. Involves a twenty minute drive or so.

I can't wait till the Vista November 4th itinerary is out. I'm kinda thinking it's going to be the same as this one which I'm ok with. Except, I like to book excursions well ahead of time.

Have San Juan and St Kitts excursions booked thru Island Marketing for November 4th cruise but doesn't look like that's happening.

I have stayed at the Dreams Resort there and loved it. The public beach down from the resort had Carnival cruisers there - that beach was not very nice - had bathrooms and that was about it. I'm staying onboard the Vista next month when we stop there.

We were in La Romana on the Vista in August. We booked the Saona Carnival Special with Seavis Tours. http://www.seavisbayahibe.com/saona_special_e.htm. It was a nice day.

We did the Seavis tour as well and loved it. We had a great time there.
