Can anyone else confirm this? have a Sky Suite (first time) in March and was looking forward to this perk

When we sailed on the Reflection in a Sky Suite earlier this year, we were able to leave our carry on luggage at Michael's Club after boarding while having lunch at Luminae.

We book Sky Suites. I have not asked to leave my carry on bags at MC. I have left my bag just inside Luminae restaurant in the foyer. Other times I put my bag just behind my seat in Luminae. I'm not sure if leaving your bag in MC is a perk. I think this might be one of those consistent Celebrity inconsistency. Remember just because you might have a carry on roller bag does not mean you cant put a Celebrity luggage tag on it and have it delivered to you suite.

Our experience has been that if you check in before embarkation has begun, you are directed to a suite waiting area. When the ship is ready, the Concierge comes and escorts the group directly to Michael's Club. When we have checked in after embarkation has begun, then someone has escorted us to Michael's. The personal escorts only happen when we are in a CS or higher.

The SS passengers are sent to the same waiting area as all the other suite guests and our part of the group escorted by the Concierge. However, SS do not get a personal escort after embarkation has begun.

On our last cruise, one of the Penthouse couples sat next to us in the waiting area. We don't know that they were in the Penthouse until we saw them on their balcony one day. So no special treatment for them.

Leaving your carry on luggage in MC isn't the big deal people are making it here. You just find an empty corner and leave your stuff there while you go to lunch and return after lunch to wait for your suite to be available or just pick it up and go if they are already available. As others have said you can leave it by the hostess stand in Luminae as well. In either case you aren't really checking it with someone but rather just conveniently getting it out of the way so you aren't dragging it about the ship.

Well, that's kinda the point. I think I will avoid any carryons bigger than my large over the shoulder bag. Keep the jewels, electronics and meds with me and let the rest fend for itself. Then I won't need to find stashing room as I wait for my cabin to be available...it's hard to carry a drink and manage luggage after all

And that's a first world problem if I ever heard one

My experience on Reflection (when I asked specifically) is that the MC concierge told us to take our bags with us to Luminae. Others on this board have reported similar. We had small carryons that were not really an issue to carry around, but I would have preferred to put them in a corner in a limited access room rather than have them at my feet in Luminae. There was no luggage lined up by the hostess stand and it wasn't offered as an option, either. So, this does seem like one of those consistent inconsistencies.
