Just booked a good deal on Freedom!

I just wanted to let everyone know that the current sale had Freedom in a balcony guarantee for $408 for 6 nights. I thought this was a screaming deal and now I have 3 cruises booked this year!

The price on the May 6, 2018 repositioning to San Juan. Has been cheap for a while now. But when you add in the hassle and cost of the airfare. It's not all that good.

I accidentally booked it a month ago (without looking at the ports, just that it left from Ft Lauderdale). They allowed me to change it the next day.

May 6-12. I did look at cruises out of San Juan as well and the price was also good but I'd have to use all my flyer miles in order to get free airfare. Ft. Lauderdale is 4hrs away, so this made more sense.

Looks like the OP did the same thing. It was easy to make the mistake. Nothing said about repositioning, the Freedom does 6 nighters regularly. You have to to read it carefully.

I'm sure there will be more than a few that get on thinking they will be back to Ft Lauderdale.

and forget they need a passport since it's not a closed loop cruise.

Should not be too expensive to book a one way flight back via Jet Blue or Southwest. Let us know how it turns out.
