Latest CAS offer?

Two of my cruises are past final payment so I would have only one that appears eligible. (The 4th is on Bliss next year.) I haven't called yet to see if they will allow it for the November cruise since it's good until March 8th. We are leaving for a cruise this week so I might just call and book a new one when we return, then also ask if my November cruise is eligible.

Has anyone else been able to get this applied to an already booked cruise? Will they let you book more than one?

I doubt they will allow it to be applied to more then one. The only time I ever see anything like that is when they do the triple shot tourney where you can book one or all 3 sailings. Let us know if you can though.

If one doesn't get this offer in the mail, is it still possible to get it by calling CAS? Or is this more a targeted to specific cruisers/gamblers kind of thing?

I'm wondering the same thing. We haven't received an email for any offers yet, although we have only been on 2 NCL cruises. When we spoke to the casino host, they said we would receive an email with offers in about 2 weeks, that was months ago.

I called CAS and they indicated that we needed more gambling time in order to see where we ranked. I guess we'll be spending time in the casino on Bliss ;)

As stated by Casino Comp Chick, it is a one time offer. TBD what kinds of hoops they will make you jump through on a future cruise (worst case is a cancel and rebook, but most of the current Free at Sea and Bonus OBC are on the "good" side). But, free grats and a $100 bucks to spend in either the Spa, Gift Shop, or Shore Ex is worth a call.

Doesn't hurt to call. I know of cases where it is on the account, but not sent in email/snail mail.

The question still remains, has anyone been able to book a 10 day cruise with this offer, as the offer states?

I would send an email to casinoinquiries@ncl.com and explain you wanted the 10 nights per the original email. If they say no, ask for it to be escalated to a supervisor, If the answer is still no.....then the answer will still be no.

FYI....As much as you want it.......saying to CAS that you saw a posting by a random person on Cruise critic or Facebook is not going to help you.

I have been given a mailer 1 time before and used it. But I have also heard/read from others if you do not have a mailer you can call and see if they can offer you anything. They may be able to do something for you, they may not, but it doesn't hurt to check. That's what I'll be doing on my next cruise....whenever that may be

  • 4 weeks later...

Does anyone have a success story to report with this offer?

Did you get to book it plus get the cabin category you would normally expect? (I found it interesting that Deefer reported it would lower a Mini-Suite to an Oceanview.)

We got home from our latest cruise and I contacted CAS to book another. They didn't see this offer available for me but said I should send an email to casino-inquiries to see if I could be eligible for it. I went ahead and booked then sent my email and got a confusing email back. (Something about I had another offer available to me...can't have two at once? It wasn't anything too special.)

I decided not to pursue it as I had just booked a great cabin with a large balcony that I definitely don't want to down-grade from in order to get this offer.

Yes. Booked the offer and got a spa mini suite (which is our normal comped class). Tried to apply to a second future cruise and was told “one only”.

That’s our normal comp too yet when I phoned to have this offer applied we were offered an oceanview, when she “took off” the offer we were again offered the minisuite. Strange.

Maybe we just make it to the minisuite level and maybe you are close to getting a suite comped??? Or maybe the rep I spoke with was mistaken??

Otherwise makes no sense.

At this point have 2 cruises booked, both 11 days, so not going to make use of this offer either way, Otherwise I would be phoning for a 2nd “opinion”.
