I know it says on the cruise personalized that for cruisetours luggage tags are available within 75 days on departure. I’m starting my cruisetour in 75 days. Just wondering when people have received theirs? I’m starting to get very excited lol

Your luggage tags are available to print from your Cruise Personalizer 75 days before sailing.

If today is day 75, log into your Personalizer, click on 'Boarding Pass and Travel Summary' in the black toolbar that has your name in huge white letters, and see if the link to 'print luggage tags' is under 'Travel Documents'.

Unless Alaska cruisetours are handled differently, nobody has "received" luggage tags from Princess in eons. It's a DIY world of travel now.

Note that the diy tags are just for the cruise portion. We use packing tape to put them on with no problems (strip of taoe along the entire tag, with enough on the end to tape it together around suitcase handle). If you are on a cruisetour I believe you get tags for each leg as you go from a Princess rep.

It's usually advisable to give as much info as possible when asking a question. Are you cruising first or doing the land portion first? If you are doing the land portion first then the tour should start with a stay at a hotel in either Fairbanks or Anchorage. You will be issued your packet with luggage tags there. Some tags are to "stay with me" and some are "go to the ship". (Not the correct wording but you get the idea.) If you are cruising first then I don't know how it's handled but I would guess you will get land tags before disembarking the ship. I have no idea at all what one is supposed to do with their cruise luggage (as opposed to land luggage) when doing the cruise first. I"m sure others will come along and let you know how it works.

Edit: I see that you received a partial answer while I was typing. ;)

Oh okay, I did an Alaska cruise tour last summer with Norwegian. I assumed it would be a similar process for the land portion. I just logged in. No luggage tags yet

I know it's difficult but try to be patient. :p We only started cruising in 2011 but Princess had stopped sending out luggage tags by that time so we have always had to print them ourselves. 75 days seems like such a long time to wait for your cruise but it will eventually be time to go. Our next cruises are 188 days, 523 days, and 539 days away. I think we need to book another one to fill in the long gap between the first and second of those cruises.

Excellent! We did a connoisseur tour and it was so easy having everything taken care of for us. As noted above, you will get a packet at your hotel with luggage tags and info. Some tags will go on the luggage that is to follow you on your land tour and different tags will go on the luggage that is to meet you on the ship. They have done this so very many times that they have it down pat. They will issue you tickets for your included meals at the lodges. My wife enjoyed ordering the (probably most expensive item on the menu) 3 kinds of crab in the nice restaurant without caring what it cost. Of course you end up paying for your meals due to the extra cost of the connoisseur tour but it's nice not to worry about it. Things in Alaska are expensive anyway. Enjoy your land tour and have a relaxing cruise after. We are looking to do another cruise tour. We'd like to get to Copper River and Kenai lodges next time.

That’s wonderful! Thank you for sharing your experience! I’ll probably be doing the same, ordering the most expensive foods on the menu :). So how do the meal vouchers work? Does it say the amount you can spend up to on the voucher?

No. It will say something like good for one appetizer, one entree and one dessert and one non-alcoholic beverage.

Exactly so. :) Just look at the menu, order what you want, and it's covered. It's just that simple. If you want an alcoholic drink that's fine but you will have to pay for it yourself. The restaurants at the Princess lodges are completely familiar with the process and do it all the time.
