Holiday Season decorating

We have cruised the Caribbean every December for a dozen or more years now. We usually time it so that we disembark shortly before Christmas. We find the prices are excellent and there are few children. This year we're sailing on the Allure on December 9th ... a little earlier than is our custom.

 

Wondering when the Beast will be decked out for the Holidays.Would you describe her decorations as elegant and understated or tacky and over the top? Maybe somewhere in between?

 

Looking for impressions from CC folks who have sailed her in December. Thanks!

I've sailed in early December several times and the ship has always been beautifully decorated for the holidays.

We were on Freedom of the Seas December 4-10, 2016. It was all decorated for Christmas. We're sailing on Navigator Dec. 7th. Love sailing between Thanksgiving & Christmas - low rates and few kids,

We cruised on Explorer several years ago in December. They decorated beautifully. Outside of the WJ they seemed to add new decorations almost daily. It is a nice time to cruise.

We are also looking forward to our cruise this December.

I will be cruising the Sunday after thanksgiving for 11 nights. Will they start decorating that early? Will be on Anthem if the Seas if that helps. Seems most people say they start decorating in Dec.

Our experience has been that they start decorating the day after Thanksgiving, and it takes several days to finish.
