Arona Posted June 23, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 23, 2018 Hi all , Looking for information on Reflection's cabin #7259 . I asked for a cabin with no visual obstructions from the balcony and a location that is less likely to cause sea sickness . Also looking for a quiet area on the ship. Anyone ever stay in this cabin ? RickT Posted June 23, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 23, 2018 I’ve not stayed in that cabin but from the deck plan it’s fairly low and almost at mid-ship which is a good location to avoid ship movement. Being on deck 7 you’ll also be above the lifeboats meaning they won’t obstruct your view outward. Your view down to the water will however be partially obstructed as you’ll be looking down at the top of the lifeboats. All in all a decent location IMHO. Wine-O Posted June 23, 2018 #7 Share Posted June 23, 2018 Hi all , Looking for information on Reflection's cabin #7259 . I asked for a cabin with no visual obstructions from the balcony and a location that is less likely to cause sea sickness . Also looking for a quiet area on the ship. Anyone ever stay in this cabin ? That stateroom is just aft of the hump and has the bed by the balcony. Be aware that the smoking section is on the hump area below you on Deck 5, so if you are concerned with smoke drafting up to your deck, you might want to consider a stateroom on the starboard side -- even numbered staterooms. With regard to sea sickness, I would think a stateroom just a little forward of the hump, looking forward, would be a more desirable location on the starboard side. helen haywood Posted June 23, 2018 #9 Share Posted June 23, 2018 7259 is a 2B category cabin. If you drop down to deck 6, there are 2B cabins on the hump. It would be the same price and I would rather be on the hump. Much better view. No difference re sea sickness.
