That's the Arab Gulf States. Decided to wait until next year for our Constellation cruise thru the India Ocean

Anyone know if it would effect cruises

Constellation doesn't go to Saudi Arabia so I wouldn't think it would impact the cruise.

Seems Saudi Arabia doesn’t appreciate being tweeted at....it’s a sad day when tweeting has taken the place of meaningful discussions.

Someone seems to be behind on their current events. No, the other Arab nations are not Saudi Arabia, but many of them are allies. And when Saudi Arabia says jump, many will ask how high. Hence the uncertainty at present, since the UAE has already sided publicly with Saudi Arabia.

 

Connie ports in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai. So far the UAE has not issued sanctions against Canada or changed the entry requirements for Canadians. We'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out. We are booked on the cruise in Jan, and will be watching closely. Since the cruise line is not Canadian, I highly doubt it would be affected.
