Walking off in Havana

We're going to Havana on Majesty with some friends. She has some trouble walking any distance and wondered how far from the gangway to place you meet Royal's tours. We know about the steps, but have been told there is an elevator for those who need it.

 

Any info from previous cruisers will be appreciated. Thanks.

That depends on if the elevator is working. It wasn’t in May when we were there.

If the elevator to the left of the stairs is not working, ask some official for directions to the other "hidden" elevator.

Elevator wasn’t working either when we sailed in July. We asked if there was another and they said no. Good to know that there’s another “hidden” one for future reference. But where is it??

We just got back. They do have one working and anyone can use it.

Just used the elevators in Havana. Their location: as you face the money change area, there is one to the far right and another to the far left.

And, to answer the second part of your question, it's a relatively short walk, maybe 100 yards or so from the point you exit the ship to the square where most tours start.
