I had to finish up my bottles of wine that I carried on

 

 

 

 

 

 

The platinum/diamond party was also this day. 45 minutes of unlimited drinks. I swear, they kept them coming. I was double fisted. The appetizers weren't that great though.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Afterwards, I ate dinner at the buffet for the first time during this cruise. AND they had short ribs. Delicious. I think I went to a comedy show and Ocean Plaza to listen to CIA one last time. I also had one last spicy chipotle margarita at the Alchemy Bar and then went back to my room to pack. I placed my luggage outside and this spelled the end of the cruise. Noooooooooooooooooo!!!!!

 

 

 

I had such a great time though. I'm so glad I did this solo cruise. I honestly think that this will be my preferred way to cruise from now on, seriously!

I thought the same, and yes that's what the rules state, but I figured I was paying for two people, I'm gonna try to bring on two bottles of wine. The worst they could do is make me toss one. They didn't bat an eye. #shrugs

Few cruises before my last Carnival cruise luckily I had already progressed to Platinum so I’m set when I go back again. I’ll never be Diamond with Carnival. But if they did double points for solo cruisers like Royal Caribbean does it would be more appealing to go back sooner as a solo cruiser.

By my third cruise next year I should be Diamond Plus. My last cruise I didn’t pay for one drink of the many that I drank between the nightly drinks in the Diamond Lounge and my free drinks in the casino. The points surely add up quickly cruising solo.

Rather than going back and reading all these posts ( wonderful review by the way) can anyone tell me if Sunshine has the upgraded electrical/USB ports in the cabins yet? Will be going November 2, and want to let my party know if they need to bring something with extra outlets for their phone chargers. Thanks.
