Rare babs135 Posted October 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted October 20, 2018 We sail in 65 days and still hold a gty inside cabin. The luggage labels have arrived for printing and show no cabin number; so When we are assigned a cabin, will we get a new set of labels? And We actually leave on holiday 8 days before we sail on the Regal Princess. If new labels haven't been issued before we leave I am assuming that it will be okay to use the original ones? The porters at the embarkation port will know which cabin we are in - even if we don't 😁
Pam in CA Posted October 20, 2018 #2 Share Posted October 20, 2018 Just print them out or do nothing. Doesn’t matter. If you still have no cabin assignment when you get to the pier, let the porter know and he will look it up, write a tag for you and attach it to your bag(s). jlp20 Posted October 20, 2018 #4 Share Posted October 20, 2018 The issue is out of your hands, you either print them yourself or do it by hand at the dock.

mevs904 Posted October 21, 2018 #7 Share Posted October 21, 2018 We had a similar situation last year. We were leaving a couple of days before the cruise so we printed out the labels and brought them with us. We received our cabin assignment on our Personalizer the day before we sailed so we just wrote in the cabin number on our tags with magic marker and we were all set to go to the port. This would work. Although we would have no access to a printer we will be able to access the internet to see where we will be sleeping Thank you

Actually, a longshoreman who is classified as a clerk, will have a copy of the latest ships manifest that will have all stateroom assignments listed on them. (What the real difference is between a clerk and a porter, I don't know. Just different job descriptions, I believe but definitely different jobs.)
