OK, pictures of some of our dinner tonight. Stopped by the Bake Shop, deck 8 AFT for a look. But, we don't need any more goodie treats.

P.S.  Dexddd ... Charry stopped by to say hi to us while we're dining in Taste, I said hi to her for you but she said ... you need to sail the Escape to get the answer yourself.

We are getting pretty good 4G LTE speed locally here on the island and on the ship from the nearest cell tower.

Pretty quiet on the Waterfront & lots of seating available. Also a good place to walk & stroll, not intended for jogging.

Where / how do you acquire the "Cruise Critic" luggage ID ?. Thanks for taking us along. Is Charry still on board as the Hotel Directors Secretary ?.....she is great to deal with if you have any issues......always referred to me as Mr. Richard....guess the last name was hard to pronounce

So Charry wouldn't admit one way or the other?  When Jefferson told us his wife was the HD secretary I said "....so when I write the HD about how Jefferson is not doing a very good job your wife will be the one to write back that no, Jefferson is the best...".  He thought about it for a second, face got a bit straight, then realized I was joking and we had a good laugh.

Will be watching the sailaway today.  Seems like the week went quick.

Watching pier - plenty of leisurely strolls for your T-minus 2 hours to go.  Safe sailing home.

We are back on the ship, I am scouting out the dining menu. These boats are available for Pier runners late for the ship. Ferry should be back so I am hanging out on the Waterfront, Deck 8 for a spot.

Taste was open for lunch today.

P.S. we should be staying behind strong wind en route to NY tomorrow, not sure about big waves ... but running at near full speed to get back on time or close to it. Will post brief update if warranted.

Here are some of the current - Nov 2018 menu on the Escape, except for Food Republic. O'sheehan's and Le Bistro ... posted earlier.

I will look for & add Le Cucina, if I get around.

Local & ship time is about 4:25 pm and still a dozen plus not yet on the ship, a few of them at the gate near the pirate ship.

Haven't seen these much on our deck, a rare sight of plates down the corridor near crew closet & passage hall.

We are doing almost 22 knots and gone over 100 nm since turning around & sailed toward SG and then head NW for NY.

Feel free to post questions for reply, if not while we are at sea or follow-up once we get back.

Both the minisafe & refrigerator are smaller compared to BA.

Good morning, just a quick update @ 8:15 am  EDT/ship time - tonight, we will turn the clock back 1 (more) hour.  We've traveled about 325 with about 383 nm to our homeport of NYC - doing 20 knots, heading of 311 degree - wind about 20 knots, sea state is still moderate and waves of 8.2 ft. reported - feeling some sideway motion from cross-wind and choppy, easily managed by a mega-ship of this size.

Simple calculation - even if the ship needs to slow down & sail around any weather ahead, we have plenty of time to get back to NY on time tomorrow morning - Marathon Sunday.

Stay tuned & I will come back later today on any semi-live updae on news worthy items to share.  Have a great Saturday morning !!

P.S.  used up another 30 minutes last night on 1 of our remaining Platinum WiFi plan and should have about 90 minutes on this one until arrival.  Satellite WiFi will probably be sluggish today with more users signing in ... did some booking on JetBlue late night & was just fine.

This CC site is much easier to navigate on a desktop w. Chrome browser, cut-n-paste, IMHO vs. using it on a smartphone or even my newer Fire HD8 tablet, which works just fine.  Just saw an alert about TripAdvisor, CC's affiliate/partner, about to make changes ... hmmm.

Per Capt.'s 10 update, planning for a 7 AM arrival, a gentle rocking with seas about 8 to 10 ft. and small white caps w cloudy sky, cross wind - bummer, time to repack.

Satellite WiFi is slower today, as expected.

Totally got tied up yesterday and missed the sail away!  By time I looked you were past spot where pilot would have gotten off.

Thanks for the updates.  Looked at web cam today and see a bit of wave action.  If you can get Mrs M out of the casino try the slides this afternoon.  On our sailing my DD and I did both the drop slides and the slides where you can basically go down the slides at the same time on the tubes this last sea day and had no lines in the late afternoon.
