Carry on water or soda??

Does anyone know if we can take on soft drinks or water on Princess in Los Angeles?  Took both on in March on Celebrity in FLL.

Take as much water and soft drinks as you like.

If you take a case or more, slap a luggage tag on it and have it delivered to your cabin so you don't have to carry it with you.

I used to bring on my own soda but I don't really drink it much anymore. When I worked I drank a lot of Diet Mountain Dew which wasn't available onboard. These days I don't work and rarely have the Dew. 🙂  I don't really get the whole "bottled water" thing. Most of it comes from city water supplies and the water on the ship is at least as pure and likely cleaner than what is in the bottles. My wife does enjoy some flavored water though and often brings a few bottles of it aboard. We use one of the empties to fill onboard and take ashore with us in port.

In our case we found the 7 ounce cans of soda are easier to carry on.

Yes you can however......LA/San Pedro is probably one of the strictest ports that I have seen. 

They examine every can/bottle looking for liquor.

Princess offers a great deal on 12 bottles of water which can be purchased pre cruise in the personalizer for $6.90.

That could eliminate part of your lugging.

We fill an empty suitcase with drinks and then that is our dirty laundry coming back. Luckily we drive down so number of luggage doesn't matter. The wife needs her diet dew and I drink way too much diet coke.
