You can get them really cheap at those dollar store. Put it in your carry-on in case they may want to check if it is surge protection or not, but so far no one question me about it. When was your last cruise? It seems they are tightening up on things. And some have reported NO extension cords allowed.

Rare h20skibum Posted January 17, 2019 #28 Share Posted January 17, 2019 They didn’t ask in March on Allure, but they did on Harmony in November and Indy a couple weeks ago.
zebe912 Posted January 17, 2019 #29 Share Posted January 17, 2019 We're having an extension cord provided by the cruiseline for a cpap, so that's going to take up one of our plugs. I was going to throw one of these in, in hopes it might work for phones and such, since they're cheap, bare bones, and easy to replace if taken. Has anyone tried one of these before? Is the third prong going to be a problem?https://www.homedepot.com/p/Eaton-15-Amp-125-Volt-5-15-Three-Outlet-Tap-Orange-4402RN-BOX/206469299?cm_mmc=Shopping|G|Base|D27E|27-2_WIRING_DEVICES|NA|PLA|71700000034239053|58700003946878363|92700031954447751&gclid=Cj0KCQiA7IDiBRCLARIsABIPohgxJ2G6ecUHYcBPX6A7-83waeWF-kanw8h5AT7yVFOBH9JQrJBVvkMaAhdKEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

However, you never know if the security people will insist on taking it.
parsec0298 Posted January 17, 2019 #31 Share Posted January 17, 2019 Another option for USB items are the portable batteries. I used the one below last week on Symphony to keep my iPhone and Apple Watch charged, since there was no outlet on my side of the bed. After two nights it was down less than 25%. If you get a big enough one a single charge before the cruise could last you the whole time, depending on how much you rely on it. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072BD98CM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=

Or, there are a number of USB cubes that come with interchangeable plugs. The ship will have both 220v Schuko F and 110v US type B outlets. Yes thankyou if there is a european soc ket we will be fine. I also always travel with 2 powerbanks for backup away from plugs . I board the ship with them fully charged and use them to keep some of our devices charged while we are just lounging about. If it it gets low, then I am just using one outlet to recharge it.
