O wants credit card for FREE excursions???

Excursions have just become available for my cruise in November.

We get 2 FREE O Life ones for each of us and I have picked them .

There is a total of $0 to pay for these but the web site still wants my credit card info??

This seems really weird!!

Never mind! I guess I hit the wrong button since I don't have to pay for these. I just got e mail confirmations that I have reserved the excursions without needing my credit card!!!

What date in Nov is your cruise?

November 9 to Cuba. I was able to pick the 2 O LIfe ones for all ports.

I have already booked 2 private ones as I like to plan in advance!

Guess O hasn’t acted yet. Heard a discussion while onboard between Destination Services and a passenger about possibly changing the current system. Too many people signing up for their free tours, tours booking up, people then not canceling and being No Shows, thus blocking others from the tours. Thought this was perhaps their cure. You only get charged if you sign up and don’t cancel. Guess Not!

before  they used to ask for  a CC  but when you checked out the total was $0 for the free excursion

now not sure if you use  OBC  how that works

Maybe those that have used OBC prior to sailing will comment

Using OLife Choice for four included excursions for our May cruise, no credit card was requested.  But we have not used any OBC yet.
