CASINO ROYALE QUESTIONS

Recommended Posts

Thank you!  I was hoping the Harmony out of Port Canaveral was on it, currently booked on the Independence for January out of Ft. Lauderdale, it would of been nice not having to fly....I wonder if anybody has the Oceanview and junior suite list, maybe the Harmony on that?

You’re welcome!

We were initially going to do Oasis out of Miami, but between the flight cost around Thanksgiving and the possibility of the dry dock going longer than expected, we are planning on doing Harmony over Halloween. From Minneapolis, flights to Orlando are always very reasonable.

The latest Club Royale offer is called "Summer Sizzle" and should be mailed/emailed out shortly. It is on selected sailings on Enchantment, Mariner, and Navigator, for sailings June-August. I asked if there will be any sailings on Oasis-class ships and was told No.

Are you going this year on the Harmony over halloween?  I am booked this year on the Harmony October 27.

Yep - that is the plan so far! Just waiting to confirm the dates with one of the people joining us, and then I will book.

It will be our first time on one of the 'mega' ships. We've sailed Carnival many times before, and our first cruise on Royal was on Navigator earlier this month. Excited to try one of the big ships!

We love the Oasis class ships, so many choices of places to go and eat.  I been on the Harmony twice, Oasis 6 times and Allure once.  We also have sailed many cruises on Carnival but RC is our most favorite.  I think you will love the Oasis class, glad your giving it a try.

Man, I hate to be a complainer about free cruises, but since I had to gamble quite a bit to even qualify, I'd say my complaint is somewhat warranted.  On my first and only cruise with RCCL, I qualified for a Balcony Stateroom Instant Offer which had a rather large selection and variety of cruises and ships.  With the way my job works, it's difficult to plan out this far ahead for the cruise selection they had plus most of the dates were just too soon.  I was kibd of expecting and hoping that the abnual Comp Cruise would have a comparable selection but it does not-a far cry from what I would have been able to get.  After experiencing Oasis-class and thoroughly enjoying it, I feel like I wpuld prefer Oasis/Quantum only.  And what's worse is that the offers have no value toward another cruise of my choosing.

Oh well, I guess I'll just be waiting for cruise offers from my land based casinos for now.

So as a heads up to anyone who qualifies for the Instant Offer during a cruise, BOOK SOMETHING on there ASAP and don't wait it out like me!

Good to know. I just got off Navigator, and the ship is beautifully redone, but coming from Minnesota, it's not worth it to take a 3 or 4 night sailing.

@NeutralNovice - have you used URComped before? I have uploaded a couple certificates to them, but haven't had a chance to book anything through them. Either way, I can look at what they have available for comps, and I see a ton of sailings available on a wide variety of ships. (Even more than what was included on my instant issue certificate.)

I'm not familiar with URComped.  Please explain hehe. I would like to be comped!

It is an independent company that uses your rankings, play history, and offers at land casinos and on cruises to get you offers elsewhere. I've sent them a free interior certificate from Carnival a couple years back and also just recently sent them this new free balcony certificate from Royal. They haven't processed the Royal certificate yet, but I see hundreds of free cruises on Royal and MSC. They're all currently valid for free interiors, but I would imagine with my free balcony offer from Royal, the offers should go up.

Essentially, they source mid and high level gamblers, vet their history (through cruise certificates and confirmation of play on cruises/casinos they book for you), and provide comp offers (with the expectation that you have sufficient play during that comp offter). I have heard that once you get into a routine with them, the offers get better and better since they know how valuable of a player you will be to the cruiseline/casino and to them. They get some sort of kickback.

Wow, awesome! Thank you!  I will definitely be signing up right away!  I play a lot at my local casinos, Vegas, and whenever I find myself on a cruise!

Just an FYI, from what I have been told and understand, if you have used a Royal Casino offer then you are considered a “property” of Royal and URcomped is not able to offer anything thru RCCL.  This appears to be a recent development.

Yes, if you have booked directly through Royal Caribbean or Club Royale, RC will not allow URCOMPED  to serve as your booking agent until there has been a 12 month period where you have not booked through RC.

What have you heard about the O amped dry dock going longer than expected ?  We are booked for 12-1-19.  I have not heard anything about this....concerned.

Doing a S2S with Brilliance the week before.

Has anybody received the latest casino royal offers in the mail and the list of comps that you receive the last night on the cruise?  Can anybody post any of these for us please?

Here is what I got last week on the Symphony. A bit different list as mine is the inside cabin offers vs. the other one that is balcony offers.

I actually haven't heard anything, but we just sailed Navigator a couple weeks back, and the first sailing after that drydock was canceled, so it was just a consideration/concern for us, especially since 11/24 is the first sailing after drydock.

We ended up booking 10/27 on Harmony.

This is good to know. I guess that's RC's way of telling us to try MSC or other competitors. 🤣

I got that email and just booked.  I really need an intervention! 🙄

You mentioned "annual" cruise. If you are referring to the Prime free cruise you can go on any cruise up to 8 days (excluding holidays) anytime between April 1st and March 31st of the following year.

I'm booked on that Oasis sailing as well. We have a week buffer, and am hoping that we are okay! I was cancelled from Navigator Feb 24 this year, so I do not want a repeat. However... you never know.
