Steakhouse tipping question

I have prepaid my gratuities. I have reserved the steakhouse. Do I tip the waitstaff with cash or is it included in my gratuities?

It is included in the price of the dinner (from what I have read) however I would suggest tipping is accepted/appropriate.

When I do tip should it be cash? Or do they send a bill to the table and I add it there?

I always add it to the check. There is a line for “additional gratuity”.

You will have a lot of time with your wait staff, typically two of them. We got to visit with them and learn about their country families, etc... 

 

One of the wait staff touched our hearts and we gave her a substanal gratuity. We tipped all others well. 

 

Might have been played but it gave us joy to possibly have made someone's life a little better.

It's supposed to be included in the price but the staff will work you for extra.i gave them extra the two times we went.wife says it's not worth it and I agree.to each their own.

We typically add 15 - 20 bucks to the check (goes on sail and sign) in addition to the gratuity that is supposedly included in the price of the steakhouse.

The prepaid charge is $70, so based on typical tipping 18-20%, $15 is sufficient in our opinion.  We have had good service before and not so great service in our previous experiences in the steakhouse.  I say wait until your experience and do what you feel they deserve.
