koolforkatz Posted April 8, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 8, 2019 My husband and I are sailing on a one-nighter on the Eurodam in May and want to make a reservation at the Tamarind. As there's lots we want to see and do in the evening, how long should we allow for dining there? Two hours or so? We're not in any hurry at all to eat, just trying to work out the timing. Many thanks!

G&G Posted April 9, 2019 #4 Share Posted April 9, 2019 Just dined twice on Eurodam at Tamarind. Excellent service and best meal ever. In and out in under 1.5 hours.
koolforkatz Posted April 9, 2019 Author #5 Share Posted April 9, 2019 Thank you all very much for your help 🙂 Looking forward to eating there - our first time ever and I’ve heard such amazing reviews about it.
Krazy Kruizers Posted April 9, 2019 #6 Share Posted April 9, 2019 I would be surprised if you didn't like the Tamarind. We have eaten there a lot on the ships that have this specialty restaurant. Definitely count on about 1 1/2 hours. Make a reservation for around 6 PM and that will give you plenty of time to do the evening activities since most of the shows start around 8 PM. We also like to have a pre dinner cocktail in their bar -- overlooking the pool and ocean.
DeeniEncinitas Posted April 9, 2019 #7 Share Posted April 9, 2019 Love, love, love, Tamarind! As KK has said 6pm is a perfect time!! We have gone a lot earlier to what was called the silk den the beautiful bar outside of restaurant enjoying the view with appetizers and great sake martinis!! We have gone several times just to have the appetizers in bar and drinks. The staff makes your time so enjoyable and the food is the best!! We have never had a bad meal there! so enjoy your time. Rare Roz Posted April 9, 2019 #8 Share Posted April 9, 2019 Allow enough time to go beforehand and have a drink in the Silk Den bar. Roz

koolforkatz Posted April 9, 2019 Author #10 Share Posted April 9, 2019 Thanks, everyone. I didn't realize there was such a nice bar that was a part of the restaurant. Looks so nice! Now I know where to go for a pre-dinner cocktail too.
cwd79 Posted April 9, 2019 #11 Share Posted April 9, 2019 This is a great suggestion about a pre-cocktail drink. Hubby and I have been to Tamarind a few times and never had a drink beforehand at the bar.
