Car rental at HON and port drop off

Is it possible to rent a car at the airport  in Honolulu and drop off at the cruise port rather than return it to the airport? If  so what rental companies provide this service?

None have been reported recently. All (which has been very limited) rental activity at the port involves a shuttle from the port to the airport to pick up the car. So there is no dropoff ability at the port.

recently rented from dollar at the airport. signal was poor so had to take a taxi instead of uber

Just as an FYI in case you use the code in making flight arrangements, HON is the code for the airport in Huron, South Dakota.  HNL is the code for Honolulu International Airport.

You can rent a car at the airport and drop off at a couple of places in Waikiki-- have done it with Avis before and it was relatively painless. Not right at the pier but not far from it.

How did you get to airport to get car rental and how did you get from drop off at Waikiki back to port.  Thanks

From a price standpoint it can be but isn't necessarily. You'll need to check pricing online. It might be you rent round trip from a location in Waikiki and take an Uber to the airport. Or Uber to the airport and drop off back at the airport. Just depends on dates and pricing from each location.
