Just back from the Nieuw Statendam- a few thoughts

The cabin No. was 5051- great cabin- the same is available at the port side of the ship- 5048- exactly the same.

Thanks for the review.  My first HAL cruise is coming up on the Statendam in a couple weeks departing from Amsterdam.  Do you know if there were any laundry specials onboard?  Any idea how much the internet is?  I only see a premium plan available to prebook for $112 but hoping for some other options.

I did not see any laundry specials- not even the " As much as you can put into the bag, for 20$ "

There three different Internet plans- depending what is most important for you! I would wait until you board before any purchase you make! See if they have offerings to your liking!

Wish you a great time on board! With all her faults NS is still a brand new ship- with all the bells and whistles!

The fill-the-bag is every day, every ship, every cruise.  No special needed for that.   For Europe it's $30/bag, or unlimited laundry for $9/day for the cruise.

Anthonyy7 are you sailing on Sept. 8?  If so, we're also on that cruise.  🙂
