Price drop: perks or room upgrade?

If the price drops after the final payment, is it possible to get one of the perks (OBC, unlimited internet etc.)? My TA says that from her practice, Celebrity only offers room upgrades, never perks. I know that nothing is guaranteed, and they owe me nothing after the final payment, but was anyone able to get any free perk instead of room upgrade?

We have never had a perk added due to a price drop after final payment.  We have paid as little as $6 to upgrade to a higher category abin.  Tge $6 was the difference between what we had paid and the current price of tge higher category cabin.

Never heard of anyone getting any free perks after FinalPayment.  Upgrades aren’t free, either.

The answer is always "no" unless you ask....

The policy is that after the final payment date, Celebrity may(will) allow you to upgrade your cabin as long as the new cabin costs at least $1 more than you paid for the current cabin.  We have tried to upgrade when the price of the new cabin was equal to what we had paid and we were refused.
