cheeriomom Posted November 5, 2019 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2019 Someone posted a recent trip report where they arrived at the Civitavecchia train station and there were shuttles out front which grouped them by cruise line and then took them directly to the ship (vs the Largo Della Place cruise ship shuttle location) can anyone tell me what it is? TIA!
Rare steamboats Posted November 7, 2019 #2 Share Posted November 7, 2019 I´ve never heard of shuttles by the cruise line. But there are shuttle busses to Largo della Pace - single ride is 2 Euro. Then you have to switch to the port shuttle busses to your ship (free of charge). steamboats
Rare cruisemom42 Posted November 7, 2019 #3 Share Posted November 7, 2019 I also have never heard of this. Can you post a link to the report?
mapleleaves Posted November 8, 2019 #4 Share Posted November 8, 2019 Are you sure this was at Civi ? I know in Livorno you could choose the NCL shuttle to take you directly from the train station to the ship, instead of taking a bus to the port, then a shuttle to the ship. caripoo Posted November 12, 2019 #5 Share Posted November 12, 2019 Not sure there are any......never seen them!!
cheeriomom Posted November 15, 2019 Author #6 Share Posted November 15, 2019 They weren't by the cruise line, I believe it was a private company. I thought I saved the post but I didn't do it right, was certainly Civi to port. I'll keep looking.

XuGator Posted December 10, 2019 #9 Share Posted December 10, 2019 I dont think this exists and if it does, its not something your should depend on. Last month when we arrived at the CIV train station, we waited for about 30 minutes and didnt even see the 2 euro shuttle to Largo DP. We ended up just walking to Largo which really wasn't bad at all (20 minutes or so). After the cruise, all of the cruise ship buses took everyone from the ship back to Largo. So I imagine that if there were a direct station to port option, it would have existed afterwards also. The 2 euro shuttles at largo transporting to the train station were plentiful upon return.
